I dealt with Anthony and he was not only friendly but very professional when working out the deal, especially on our trade in. The car was prepped beautifully and all the paperwork was ready when we arrived. Anthony is very knowledgeable, never felt in a rush, and answered all our questions. We're looking forward to a long relationship with Mohegan Lake...just wish they were a little closer to our home. More

Buying my Audi TT Long Distance I've been looking for the "right" Audi TT Convertible for several months. I live in Williamsburg ,VA and checked out Audi dealers in my area. The TT is available in the Premium ,Premium Plus and the Prestige Package. I nearly purchased a Premium Plus in the Philadelphia Area, but just prior to making the Philadelphia "buy" I found the perfect TT with Prestige Package, Audi "Grey" with the light grey Alcantara Leather. Just the right color and the right package (loaded). I talked to Jill Gerety who handles on line sales. She sent me all the info, + took extra photos and e-mailed. After it was apparent I would buy the TT, Alfonso Ruggiero The Mohegan Lake Audi Brand Specialist handled the rest of the process. Meeting Alfonso in person and meeting Barry Rost, President of Mohegan Lake Motors it was clearly apparent why Mohegan Lake Motors was awarded New York State Audi dealer to the year for numerous consecutive years. Here's an excerpt I sent to Barry Rost - President: Barry I would be remiss if I didn’t comment as to Alfonso’s very professional approach, Audi knowledge, great customer follow up (calling, e-mailing or texting responses), and great attitude.Plus he wears a suit and tie which I believe (and I know you agree) is very important as to the appearance image this portrays.I still wear sports coats (mostly suits) when meeting with my customers. Even though most of my customers including company owners, Presidents, have moved to casual dress.I can understand why your dealership was and is still ranked as “Best in Class” in NY State several years in a row. Working with Mohegan Lake Motors, and with Anthony Augusta in particular made it enjoyable. There was no heavy-handed sales push, which, being in sales myself, I find to be obnoxious and off-putting. Instead, Anthony took the time to truly understand what I wanted in a car, how much I wanted to pay for it, and which method of payment made the most financial sense...probably the most important part to me since I am a financial advisor and view automobile purchase as a necessity and not the best use of funds, given today's car prices (I can still remember when you could buy a beautiful home for less than what it costs to buy a decent car today!). Over the years I've purchased or leased over 20 new cars. I don't think I've ever experienced a easier more pleasant transaction than the recent one with Anthony Augusta at Mohegan Lake Audi. The dealer is a ways from my home, but dealing with them was worth the extra effort. There was NOTHING about the experience that was even slightly unpleasant. We had talked previously a couple of times over the phone before I made an appointment to come in. He answered all my questions and concerns and was always honest with me. I was able to get the car in the color and with all the options and accessories I wanted along with the price I wanted. Anthony also made sure that the car was prepped and delivered to me exactly as I had requested. I can be very picky with how my new cars are prepped and Anthony made sure all my requests were fulfilled. Just leased my first Audi I recently leased the new 2015 Audi A3 and my experience could not have been better. Given the choice between an Audi dealership literally 3 minutes d I recently leased the new 2015 Audi A3 and my experience could not have been better. Given the choice between an Audi dealership literally 3 minutes down the road from me, or traveling a little over 30-40 minutes to Mohegan Lake Motors one would think I would go close to home. But after speaking with Matt on the phone, the choice was clear. He was able to answer all questions I had pertaining to leasing and what models and specs I would be able to include in my budget. He never pressured me to go one way or the other, but just gave me all of the information I requested and let me choose what I was comfortable with. Even after the sale, Matt has continuously checked up on me and makes sure I am 100% satisfied with my purchase and experience. He even followed up on a question I had pertaining to the messaging feature in the A3 that I couldn't figure out how to initialize (the issue was the iPhone, not the Audi). Overall I am very satisfied with my experience, have already recommended friends and family, and plan on returning in a few years myself. I recommend them with the utmost confidence. More
