I wanted to purchase a certified pre-owned Audi A4 Quattro and used www.cars.com to find dealerships with available cars meeting my criteria (miles, options, color, and price). I found six dealerships with cars I was interested in, with Mohegan Lake Motors being the closest so first stop on my list. I entered the wrong side of the dealership (VW side) and was greeted very nicely by a salesman who escorted me over to the Audi side where he introduced me to Alex Sultanov. I showed Alex the car I was interested in on my smartphone. Unfortunately someone just put a downpayment on the car so it was not available. Alex pulled out the CPO list and we went through each car, none of which met my criteria. Alex then described a vehicle that had just came in off lease. It was a one owner car that he had sold new and he also knew the owner well. He did a great job describing the car and its history to me. We looked at the car, I was not impressed with its looks because it had just come in and so was still dirty from the previous owner. But, we took it for a test drive, which turned out to be in a torrential downpour. The car handled great in the tough conditions, so I decided to negotiate. The negotiation process was actually fun and it didn't take too long. I believe that I was fairly treated through the process and that I was getting a great deal, so I bought the car. I felt that Alex was looking after my best interests through the whole process (whether he was or not doesn't matter, but the feeling does). In the whole process Alex was very fun to work with, being very matter-of-fact and having an excellent dry sense of humor. I actually enjoyed my car buying experience, my sister was with me and she enjoyed it too. I would definitely consider buying another car from this dealership. My only disappointment was with the detailing of the car when I picked it up, it wasn't as clean as it should have been: dirt, smudges and scratches were still there. But, it had a full tank of gas, was great fun to drive on my 4 hour trip home, and I love my new car. More
