With no indication that they were keeping my car overnight I have to keep calling trying to get updates and was never really given any real time frame and not one time was I offered a loaner car despite me telling several people I couldn’t miss work and and trying to get clarity on why it’s taking so long. I missed 2 days of work because they had my car. Finally Got my car back and it still wouldn’t start, after he assured me it was the battery and everything else was good. When I called back and spoke to luc he Got upset with me because I’m asking him was everything Checked out like he said because my car isn’t starting And if the alternator and everything else is good like you told me I’m not understanding why it won’t start. Not 1 time did he offer to bring it back In to be looked at, or ask the technician Who actually service my car was he sure everything was good because the customer (me) is stuck in a parking lot after just picking my car up from the dealership. Called and tried to speak with a manager he was gone for the next 3 days asked Vicky )who was very rude and lifeless) can I speak to another supervisor she told me I would basically have to wait till Monday cause he’s the only supervisor. After exchanging words with her for a while she finally put me on the phone with the sales supervisor joe who I’m waiting on a call bck….. he never called back I had to call back and told me he really doesn’t want to be caught in the middle of this and he had the service advisor Luke call me long story short I was told I couldn’t get a loaner car and I have to cover the price to have it towed back up there i wanna have my car towed somewhere else to get it fixed but I’ve already spent so much but after this will never in life go back I don’t care if it’s just for an oil change I’ll drive to tarpon springs!! My wife's 2011 GMC Terrain officially died. The well known and documented Oil Consumption issues in the 4 Cyl Ecotec, that GM seems unwilling to put out a recall for, finally killed our engine. The well known and documented Oil Consumption issues in the 4 Cyl Ecotec, that GM seems unwilling to put out a recall for, finally killed our engine. So, we were back on the market for a new 6 seater, and my wife really wanted an Acadia. We drove over to Tasca thinking that we would likely get a used model, but after speaking with our Sales Person, Bella, we opted to lease a brand new 2022 Model for not much more. We ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! The color is gorgeous, the features are plentiful, and well... new car smell. ;-) Bella was outstanding to work with. She was attentive, empathetic to our situation with our Terrain, and listened to our needs and wants in a new vehicle. The competence she showed us was comforting and we were able to build trust with her. We were so thrilled to hear that we were going to be her first sale! At the end of the deal, we took a picture with her in front of our new Acadia, and I was sure to send it over to her. More
I hate buying cars and, at my age, I've bought a lot of them. But our purchase experience at Tasca was one of the best ever. They bent over backwards to accommodate us and to treat us fairly. No hassle or them. But our purchase experience at Tasca was one of the best ever. They bent over backwards to accommodate us and to treat us fairly. No hassle or games whatsoever. I highly recommend them and would buy there again. More
I should have known Tasca GMC was no less corrupt than Dick Norris was. I bought my 2012 Acadia new and had all of my servicing done at Dick Norris until the day I brought my car in for scheduled mainte Dick Norris was. I bought my 2012 Acadia new and had all of my servicing done at Dick Norris until the day I brought my car in for scheduled maintenance and they convinced me I needed a “valve job” at 40,000 miles. I told them I needed to talk to my husband but I made phone calls to other dealerships and our former auto technician in KY before giving them an answer. When I called back to tell them I didn’t want them touching the valves, they told me “too late, we already started”. My husband was furious when he got back in town. From then on, all of our servicing was done at Midas which by the way has a licensed GMC mechanic on staff. In November, our car went in for servicing because it wouldn’t accelerate. After doing diagnostics on the car, we were told it needed the much sought after Engine Control Module which could take 6 months to a year depending on the supply chain issue. (A $550 repair under normal circumstances) They suggested taking it to the GMC dealership because we would have better luck getting the part. However, due to mistrust, I towed the car car back home to wait for the part. In April, we were told that Dick Norris was bought out by Tasca Automotive Group so we called them. They said no problem, have the car towed over and we will get the part for you. A week after it was dropped off, we received a phone call telling us we needed a tune up! How can they determine it needs a tune up when it still doesn’t have the ECM? We said NO! Weeks go by and they tell us they installed the part but it’s running really rough and “it needs a tune up”. We were highly suspicious given our problems with Dick Norris. Again we said no, we would come get the car when we got back in town. Long story short…they convinced us that Midas didn’t use the correct plugs and we needed genuine GMC plugs. When we arrived to pick up the car, the windshield was cracked and the car would start but it wouldn’t move because now they claim it needs a catalytic converter! Turns out, they parked the car using a fork lift! It never needed a tune up! The spark plugs were the same exact sparks plugs Midas used on my vehicle! And it gets worse. My husband was arranging for a tow truck and the service manager told my husband (not a mechanic) that all he had to do was disconnect the air flow sensor (and he showed him HOW to do it) and the car would drive. My husband left the dealership to drive 1 mile at 15mph to Midas because he was highly suspicious of the work done at Tasca. Midas was horrified at their advice!!! That one mile drive totaled my car. RUN FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!! More
