When Volvo gives you a lemon, Tasca adds salt. My 2017 XC90, which I leased from Tasca, started significantly leaking water in December 2017. Since then, I have returned this vehicle for service ov My 2017 XC90, which I leased from Tasca, started significantly leaking water in December 2017. Since then, I have returned this vehicle for service over 10 times, many of which lasted a week or more. I was never provided a comparable Volvo loaner car; instead, I was given Fort Explorers, Ford Escapes and Lincoln Nautilus's to drive while still paying $980/mo on the XC90. On so many levels, these vehicles are far from comparable. Particularly disappointing was the Escape I was given where the underbody fell off after I drove it less than 5mi from the dealership. I also was given a Ford Explorer with a wheel balance issue so severe that after getting on the highway next to the dealership I had to get off the next exit and swap it out because it felt unsafe. The loaner car process is also painful, though the guys there are very nice. It is handled as it's own entity, so they have to call your insurance company and verify payment every single time. Hours of my life have been wasted just going through the loaner car process. When the leak first occurred, I specifically asked service to avoid removing the headliner if at all possible. Assuming the leak was from the sunroof, they removed it. Within a few days after picking the vehicle up it leaked exactly the same way. Turns out the leak was not from the sunroof, but from the rear hatch. I was now left with a squeaking/rattling headliner that had several marks and areas with damage. Worst of all, the headliner never actually needed to come out if the leak was addressed properly the first time. After returning it several times to have this issues resolved, it leaked again. This time it actually was from the sunroof, which had previously been unnecessarily tampered with. This new leak was so severe that water was pooling up inside the overhead console near the sunroof switch to the point that, in the pouring rain, the sunroof would open unexpectedly and I would be unable to close it immediately. This happened while driving, of course, which left me distracted and soaking wet. Following this leak, more water entered the overhead console area. It was enough water to drip through the Intelli-Sense camera system, out the bottom of the enclosure and all over the center console and infotainment screen. This caused erratic behavior of the infotainment system which also controls various driving functions. The infotainment had to be serviced as did the actual leak. Interwoven into these events and the associated service visits, the seat leather also separated from the driver's seat frame which took several additional service visits to fully remedy as it kept coming back off. On another occasion, the wipers stopped working and the vehicle showed a turn signal system fault. Couldn't drive it without any turn signals - that's dangerous and illegal. While waiting in the rain for the tow truck the wiper system also malfunctioned in the same way. Suddenly, nothing on the steering column or steering wheel worked at all. Tasca wasn't able to get a loaner vehicle to me and I was at work (I run a time-sensitive business), so I ended up getting an Uber to our office and was forced to drive a 26ft box - which I am not even legally licensed to drive - to Boston early the next morning as it wasn't logistically possible to get a loaner car. The vehicle still has a belt squeak at low speeds which is unresolved. In the most recent service visit, the car was returned to me with a large grease mark on the headliner/driver's sun visor. An area that is always in my line of site while driving and it's tough to mistake on the light blonde interior. During all of this, I requested that Volvo terminate the lease, which they would not agree to. It has taken 18 months of battling both Tasca and Volvo and I have been shown time and time again that the Tasca service team is incapable of repairing imported cars and, perhaps most disappointingly, Volvo isn't willing to stand behind their own product. Tasca has many times been slow to respond. When Mike Perlini left, who I must say was very helpful and was the only person I worked with that actually cared, there was no auto-responder on his email. If they were forwarded to someone else like they should have been, nobody bothered to respond. They simply went unanswered for over a month until I finally called Tasca. I even got a spam email from Bruce Dancause that had a malicious attachment. I let him know and never heard back. This email clearly went to more customers than myself because when I called to speak with Bruce (after not hearing back) the receptionist asked if it was about the "hacked emails". Tasca obviously knew about these emails, which had an attachment containing executable VB code, and never even notified their customers to ignore/delete/not open it. I very clearly made Tasca aware of this and it was essentially ignored. Volvo "Customer Care" is also treating me like this experience isn't unusual, so I can only assume it is normal for the "World's Safest Car" to have major faults on basic safety systems like wipers and turn signals all while having multiple major water leaks serviced by teams that can't fix it. Makes me wonder if the airbags will work should the time ever come... If you are looking at a Volvo, look for something else somewhere else. If you get a lemon like I did, Tasca can't fix it and Volvo won't care. More

I was considering 2 vehicles (one from another dealer) and Michael encouraged me to take my time to choose the vehicle that was a better fit for me and my family.
