This was the first time my mother has bought/leased a car since the death of my father and her husband. As you can imagine, this was a very big step for her to purchase a car for the VERY first time totaly o since the death of my father and her husband. David Truitt was so helpful and probably the best saleman I have personally ever worked with. HE was honest, friendly, and very knowleggable about the car she bought. I found Taylor Hyundai while shopping for an Elantra on the Hyundai website. I built my Hyundai and sent the form off for a quote from a dealer. David emailed me to tell me more about the Elantra, and he also told me more about his own car and the gas mileage it got. When I got to the dealership, Wallace approached me, and when I asked about David, both men worked with me to find the car that I was most happy with. The Elantras were all sold during my first visit, but when I returned the next day, an Elantra had just been taken off the truck. David came over and told me he had a great car, and he made SURE that I had the ability to test drive it before another customer could get into it. I loved the Elantra, but when I laid eyes on the Veloster, I knew that was the car I wanted. Wallace and David did everything they could to make sure that I knew the car inside and out, and both men went out of their way to make me comfortable. At no time did I ever feel pressured to buy a car, and never did a pushy sales manager approach me to try to talk me into a car I didn't want. This dealership was by far the most friendly, pressure-free dealership I visited while car shopping. I highly recommend Taylor Hyundai to anyone looking for a new vehicle. I will definitely be a repeat customer, and I will always ask for David or Wallace when I get there. Before I pulled out of the lot with my new car, David sat in it with me to make sure I knew how to operate every feature in it. I did not feel the slightest bit uncomfortable with the car when I left. Wallace bent over backwards to keep my payments where they needed to be, and he worked a deal with me on the car even though I knew it was a high demand car. Started the search over two months ago, establishing the type of car I needed and how I would finance the purchase. Had all things in line and was not even looking at Hyundai. Friends told me to go to the dealership, any dealership and test drive a Hyundai. Anyone looking for a car needs to just go the dealership and test drive a Hyundai. Met Ben within a few minutes of walking on the lot. Was kicking tires looking at the new Genesis models in the front. Asked about taking a test drive, and without hesitation got one of the Genesis models off the line. walked around it, over a few of the items in it and went on a test drive. Went into the showroom after the test drive and talked finance. Absolutely no pressure but we did talk finance a bit. I took the card and did some more research that nigh. Through the week thought about the car and went back on the following Friday. Test drove a Sonata that had arrived during the week. Had the afternoon to think and line up the bank on the financing. Wend back on Saturday and agreed on the price and used their financing. The dealership is very upfront on their financing. All you have to do is ask. The bulk of the data is available online, so there is little to hide. Financing was also financed through the dealer, they beat the financing from the credit union. The paperwork was simple and no surprises were presented at the last minute. Delivery of the vehicle the dealer staff went beyond what would be a typical drop off at the dealer. They delivered the car to me. Clean, neat, with delivery on time. Best dealership experience I have ever had. Taylor Hyundai is fantastic. Ben and David are a great sales team and deliver, period. I've purchased 3 Hyundai's from Taylor and have been happy with every sales experience. The sales people are very knowledgeable about their product and go overboard to work out a deal. I had one experience where some minor damage was done to my 2006 Sonata being serviced, but they took care of it and had it repaired quickly. Otherwise, it's easy to make an appointment, the service waiting area is well appointed - great coffee, and the car is washed and vacuumed before they bring it out. Great cars, great people, great dealership. More
Before going to Taylor Hyundai, I had researched the different brands of sedans and had decided on the Genesis. I test-drove every car in the Augusta area, never thought about a Hyundai. When I test-drove the car I knew immediately that I was in luv. When I started looking for cars I knew I wanted a Honda. I wanted the Honda name and report but once I started looking at them I saw that they did not have much space, and had to pay extra for amenities like sunroof, mud flaps, fog lamps it was ridiculous. But Hyundai offered, all those things and the price was right! It was crazy for me to not to go with Hyundai. I think all those things make a car look good! Plus the rating beat Honda! And the consumer report has a better rating on the Hyundai’s than Honda’s. Go figure. And knowing my luck with cars…that means a lot. Jeff Milne (my Sales Guy) and Don O’Neill (Sales Manager) are great guys, I could not decide on the color, and in all honesty it took me about an hour to two hours to make a final decision, they were great and stuck right there with me. I know it had to be aggravating. They have patients of Jude. Between my mother and I, we asked every question there was from the warranty to how much the car weighed. And if Jeff did not know the answer, he would be quick to respond with, I will find out for you (and did). It was Jeff’s 3rd day at the dealership and I would have never known, it seemed like he had been selling the Hyundai name for years. I am a very picky person and knew what I wanted. I did not feel that I was taken advantage of in any way and felt that they were able to work with the price I had in mind. They were all just so honest. I am now a proud owner of a new 2011 Hyundai Sonata. I do a lot of hauling and so I need a car with lots of space. Drove my car to the beach right after I got it and was amazed with how much space I had to pack more items. I have owned my car about 2 months now and I am still learning new things. Its exciting and I luv it! I HIGHLY recommend the Taylor Hyundai dealership in Augusta Ga. My husband and I were greeted by Ben at the front door of the dealership. He was very friendly and got a car ready for us to test drive quickly (he even ran the AC so it wouldn't be so hot for us). When we came back, he clearly explained the offer and allowed us time to talk privately. He never rushed us or tried to coerce us into a decision. When I returned on Monday to retrieve an item from my previous vehicle, he remembered my name and was again very pleasant. He even ran after me as I was driving off the lot to see if I needed assistance setting up the Bluetooth! I would definitely recommend a visit to Taylor Hyundai! More
