Then he presented us with several options as to color and features. At no time in the process did he loose focus on our requirements. We reached a decision and he smoothed the way for us to connect with finance to get us on our way. Let us conclude by saying that Ryan is one of the most considerate, thoughtful, tech savvy and professional sales reps we’ve ever met in the auto business. I am submitting this formal complaint concerning deceptive and misleading sales practices encountered at Team Honda North, in connection with the potential purchase of a 2015 Honda Odyssey 5dr Touri deceptive and misleading sales practices encountered at Team Honda North, in connection with the potential purchase of a 2015 Honda Odyssey 5dr Touring (Stock N257325A, Mileage 93,755, Price: $15,541). On November 4, 2025, I traveled approximately one hour to your dealership to test drive the above vehicle after viewing it online. During my visit, I was informed that several issues identified during inspection would be repaired prior to sale. However, I was later told that only “safety issues” would be addressed, and that the dealership would not correct other problems because the vehicle was listed at a “lower internet price.” Despite that limitation, I remained interested in the vehicle and asked specific questions regarding any available warranty and a short-term return policy. I was told that the dealership offered neither. Based on this information, I chose not to purchase the vehicle that day. After returning home, I reviewed your dealership’s website and discovered the following statement under your “Happy Driving Guarantee”: “Take advantage of our Happy Driving Guarantee. Just bring it back in the purchase condition within five days and 500 miles and we’ll refund your money, no questions asked. Ask your salesperson for all the details.” This guarantee was never disclosed during my visit, even though I specifically asked about a return option. This omission and contradictory statement represent a failure to disclose a material fact and constitute false, misleading, or deceptive trade practices under Texas Business & Commerce Code §17.46(b) of the Deceptive Trade Practices–Consumer Protection Act (DTPA). Dropped car thru tripple AAA called to see what was up and the price changed to up to $229 to do a total diagnosis test to see what is totally wrong with the car. By then I was okay fine if the price goes towards repairs that would be okay. Needless to say next day told it is not true it is $159 per diagnosis test and no total diagnosis test exists. You do one for problem you brought it in for then it is that price if you need to do one for your transmission then it is another 159 so three 159 I said to myselft this is turning shady but my car is up there. 159 times 3 = 477 Next day told that it was only the batter and that is why it was not going past 3rpm or 5 miles per hour that they were going to do a 23 check point and give me a price on it but my main reason was going to be a $225 batter that comes with an 8 year warranty. I waited and I get am estimate of over $7,000.00 I even save the proof of how much and at the end of the video their tech states oh by the way the check engine light might come back because of a Mass Air Flow Sensor wich is brand new. Less than a week and the car now won't go past 5 mile per hour again I did a complete 180 and nothing is fixed just a new battery for $225.00 More
