I went in for a software update and replacement of some under-the-hood component. The service was prompt and the tech was courteous and professional. But just a general observation: Service depts need t under-the-hood component. The service was prompt and the tech was courteous and professional. But just a general observation: Service depts need to learn more about EVs and design a new intake form and service list dedicated to EVs. For instance, there is still a line item about an oil change. EVs don't use oil or transmission fluids. More

Team Nissan gave me an estimate of $1000 to repair a car probably not even worth $1000. I emphasized that $1000 was the absolute maximum I could pay otherwise I would just sell it or junk it. The repair was probably not even worth $1000. I emphasized that $1000 was the absolute maximum I could pay otherwise I would just sell it or junk it. The repair was completed and I was told over the phone the total was $2000. I could not pay the amount and told Nissan reminding them I had been very clear the maximum I could pay was $1000. I figured they would just sell the car but instead I receive a court notification from a tow company TWO YEARS later saying I owe $5000 for storage. I didn't realize there was a law prohibiting charging more than 10% over an estimate which is why Nissan didn't pursue the matter directly. These are devious and dishonest HORRIBLE people and you should shop anywhere else. More
