Returning customer. We went to Terry L. Chevrolet to inquire about an incoming vehicle that was not on site yet. We were working with salesman Patrick Griffin. He was We went to Terry L. We were working out the final purchase price when he brought the cost sheet back which had over $8000 worth of dealer options.... THAT HAVE NOT BEEN INSTALLED YET. I crossed out the options I wanted taken off including an EV fee on a gasoline vehicle.....go figure. I was badly undercut on my trade in which was borderline insulting. The deal went back to the tower several times but there were 3 dealer options they they would not remove totaling about $1000. I told them that I did not want them, they agreed they were not on the car yet and I wanted the charges taken off. The sales manager came out and asked what needed to be done to get my business. I told him to start by taking off the useless options. I advised him I was easy to do business with and my request was not a far reaching one. He too agreed that the said options were not installed so I asked what the issue was. As he stutterer and stammered to give me an explanation all the while not being able to look me in the eye, he said the price he gave was the bottom line. We walked. They lost a sale over tinted windows, nitrogen tire fill and door handle protectors....that were not even done yet. Arrogance will get you nowhere. This completely ruined the great experience we had the last time we bought there. Can't say I'll be back. More
