This transaction went very well and quickly - in and out in less than 3 hours. Compared to other sales I've had with other dealerships, I consider this to be stellar. Browsing the inventory on-line & lining in less than 3 hours. Compared to other sales I've had with other dealerships, I consider this to be stellar. Browsing the inventory on-line & lining up the test drive with Thano prior to our arrival eliminated alot of the typical 'waiting around' time. Reasons why my experience with The Frederick Motor Company earned high marks: * Salesman Walter Smith insisted that we take a test drive even though it meant staying past closing and we told him t Company earned high marks: * Salesman Walter Smith insisted that we take a test drive even though it meant staying past closing and we told him that we definitely would not be buying the vehicle that day. (and we didn't) He was knowledgeable about the Subaru's handling capabilities and guided my driving experience to demonstrate this. * Sales Manager Kevin Moler matched the discounted price offered through a buyer's service that was provided by my insurance company. (available only at another dealer in VA) We conducted this process by e-mail which was convenient, expedient and clear, and eliminated the tortuous negotiating process. * Business Manager, Ron Musgrove was genuinely nice and easy to deal with. He did not push (even a little) when I explained that while I would listen politely to his descriptions of the different warranties available, I would not be buying any of them. * I expected my new Subaru Forester to be clean on pick up, but it had also been waxed and had a full tank of gas! Walter patiently helped me install the floor mats while explaining different features and he set up my Bluetooth speed calls. He walked me over to the service department and explained the process. I recently purchased a new Subaru Outback from Walter. My wife and I had been shopping for a new car for about a month. We had decided upon the Outback and had visited another Subaru dealer, but left that dealer unsatisfied. We had even atempted to call that other dealer back and work with them to no avail. From the first time I spoke with Walter on the phone to the final delivery of our new car he was nothing but helpful, friendly and professional. I have never before enjoyed the process of buying a car. I would and will recommend Frederick Motor Company and Walter Smith to anyone shopping for a vehicle. They really go out of their way to make sure their customers are totally satisfied with the deal. More

I came in looking for a Subaru 2013 Legacy near closing. Walter stuck around and showed me the cars and let me take a test drive even when I said I was not going to purchase that day. Where do I even start? I visited the Frederick Ford Motor Company last Monday, seeking a used Hybrid. I noticed there were several on the lot and Scott, the salesman, worked with me on a consistent basis to Company last Monday, seeking a used Hybrid. I noticed there were several on the lot and Scott, the salesman, worked with me on a consistent basis to help me get the car I wanted and the price that was most affordable for a college student. I visited 5 other dealerships in the local area and they were less willing to work with me on price and offered me significantly less on my trade-in. The Frederick Motor Company had my interests at heart. Scott offered great customer service, a kind and knowledgeable environment, and proved to me that I will have to look no further than The Frederick Ford Motor Company for any of my car needs. I highly recommend this company and especially Scott, who helped me drive away in the car of my dreams in only 1 day! Keep up the great work Scott and thanks again! I'll see you in a few years when I want the newest Ford Fusion Hybrid! I'll be sending new customers your way. Lastly, after I purchased the vehicle, Scott has called me to check in and see how my new ride was handling. He invited me to Ford's Technology Fair that helped me learn the latest gadgets in my vehicle and set up my Blue-Tooth free of charge.
