So on the day of September 9,2022,I purchased a 2013 VW Beetle Fender Edition from the Internet Car Lot online,which is located in Omaha Nebraska.I went through all of the proper procedures that a consume Beetle Fender Edition from the Internet Car Lot online,which is located in Omaha Nebraska.I went through all of the proper procedures that a consumer goes through such as:checking the fair market value based on the current market for vehicles in that range,knowing what features and package options this vehicle has in comparison to other vehicles in its class, as well as well as any issues the vehicle has gone through such as:accidents ,salvage titles,or just poor vehicle maintenance based on CARFAX reports.With that being said,I made my decision to purchase the vehicle from the Internet Car Lot based on the information presented on the report and the thirty photos posted on their website.Since the vehicle I purchased was in another state far from where I live,My intention was to fly there to test drive the vehicle however,the salesperson made me aware that several people were interested in the vehicle and that it would be best to put down $500 ernest money to hold the vehicle,which was refundable upon purchase of the vehicle."Cool."I purchased the vehicle in full through my bank.I also had to pay $1400 to have the vehicle transported to Atlanta.Upon receiving my vehicle the first thing that I noticed after doing a walk around inspection was that there was mismatched paint blemishes from rough sanding after the vehicle was painted and wasn't given a proper clear coat.There were also major scratches and dents to the fender,the bumper,the doors and the rims of the car.After looking inside the the vehicle,there were parts that were missing such as,the key cover cap,the pull strap and coat hook hanger,as well as a major chipper crack to the air vent trim which surrounds the radio.After taking the vehicle to a reputable VW dealership,they informed me that there is a major crack in the radiator core support as well as a missing oil pan and sound baffle. These items are important to mention because all of these things were missed on their so called "inspection "and all said items out of 30 photos were conveniently neglected on the details.And on top of of that I recieved the vehicle with the low fuel light on"NO GAS!" The dealership asked for more than the price of an excellent condition vehicle and it was paid to them.The vehicle is in fair condition at best.When brought to the attention of my salesperson and the General manager,all they offered was to cover the cost of the pull strap which totals $125.They refused to take accountability for the lack of information being given to the consumer about the vehicle which robbed me of the opportunity of making a fair decision. I tried to work with them several times before writing this complaint to have the integrity to do right by your customers, but it was met with, phone calls and messages being ignored and not being accountable for overselling me a vehicle with so many imperfections. I can't tell you as a consumer where to spend your money,I will say that The Internet Car Lot was a very disappointing experience for me,and just know they will not give you any assistance or follow up with you after the purchase of your vehicle.And if you have any issues with your vehicle,you're on your own.
