New Honda, 5000 miles, first visit for service. Short service hours, No loaner offered , & No waiting for vehicle on site (COVID). I made appointment a week in advance and specifically asked about dropping my vehicle off at night. I didn't want to lose hours from work and asked about the gated parking lot and hours it would would open. I was assured the lot would be open. I arrived at 6:00 pm and gates were locked, I tried calling but no one answered. I called Dealer where I purchased vehicle and was told gates were locked, yes I knew that, he offered no help. I had to take off from work the next day, to drop my car off at8:00 am. I parked in the parking lot and was walking to the service entrance and I was rudely directed to the drop off location by the Valet. It was my first time here, no clear markings at the entrance to where I should position my car. I am then directed to service manager and check in with him. I explain my displeasure of having to travel a second time (60 miles round trip, 2 vehicles) to the service center but he nonchalantly blames the "call center" and my complaint is disregarded like a nuisance. My service was for an oil change and to take care of several Recalls. My car is promised for the Ende of the day. Ten minutes after I leave I receive a call asking if I have my Key. I explain I gave my Key to the Rude Valet and he moved my car into the service garage as I was sitting with the service manager. The service manger says he will find my key. I ask him to call me when he finds the key. He NEVER CALLED. When I get home, my wife try calling the service center to find out if they found the key or if we should return with our second key. After an hour on the phone, circling through robotic phone menus she finally reaches a real person and not a voice mailbox. She told us there was no need to return with a second key she will speak with the service manager and find our key. We waited on hold for confirmation that they indeed had found our key, but she never returned and the called was disconnected. At 1:23 pm I receive a call saying my car would NOT be finished by the end of the day. (I guess that is when then found my key.) So now I have to take off another day of work to pick my car up the next day. I ask to speak to manager to log a complaint and was forced to wait an excessive amount of time for him to come to the lobby. When I finally get home, I am welcome by a message on my vehicle display; "Unable to Update Code 6382 Please try again later or try a different wireless network if it continues to fail, please have your vehicle checked by the dealer." What did I have done? I don't know for sure. but this update was not done. I need to bring it to a dealer that can actually help me. More

It was recommended that I change the timing belt and flush transmission fluid so it did. I was given a loaner car which was nice since the repair was going to take a few days to get parts What really upset was I was told the power steering pump was leaking and needed to be replaced to pass inspection. The inspection should’ve been done first to alert me of parts I had to replace now. I would have deferred the other work to a later date to spread the cost out over time. I really feel like I was being taken by some underhanded garage that I didn’t know. I do not expect this from Honda and especially from Babylon Honda since I bought the Odyssey from and have had nearly all service done by you. More
