Best Honda Service I have a Honda Odyssey and a Honda Fit. I bought them and I service them at Honda Babylon for almost 15 years. They are friendly, honest and reliable. Attempts to email manager have yielded no results I felt it necessary to bring to your attention a lapse of transparency in the customer service I received after dropping my car off on Monday Feb. 4th I felt it necessary to bring to your attention a lapse of transparency in the customer service I received after dropping my car off on Monday Feb. 4th at around 11:00am. I was told by your associate that the technician would "take a look at it" and they would get back to me. No time frame was offered. As the hours passed, I received no updates on the status of my vehicle. After about 6 hours I tried to contact the center to see if the car would be kept overnight so that I could make any necessary arrangements for the next days commute. Any attempts to call the center or my service advisor either went to an answer machine or a busy tone. I left multiple messages up until the center closed. My car was kept overnight, which I was never informed could be a possibility. The next day I had still not received any communication. Any attempts to get though to someone was met with the same thing; a busy tone or answering machine. I decided I had to show up in person to see what was going on with my vehicle. At that point, it had been kept for 24 hours without anyone contacting me and I was ready to take my car and business elsewhere. Upon my arrival, I was told that my "timing was perfect" and the car was just looked at by the technician and ready to be fixed, completely disregarding the fact that I’ve been leaving messages trying to get in touch with anyone who could tell me anything. After voicing how unhappy I was and that I’d like to take my car back, I was then told that I could not take my car without paying the diagnostic fee. Mind you at this point I had received no information on my car and simply wanted to take it and leave. From where I stand if i had turned around 5 minutes after dropping off the car and decided to take it elsewhere, you would have to honor my request. Why would it be different if its 24 hours later and I've received no updates, and you've done nothing as far as I can see? So 24 hours after being left in the dark, unable to contact anyone, I am now being threatened with having to pay a fee just to take my car back and leave. I feel like I was left with no choice but to pay to finish the job. In retrospect I should have had the repair done elsewhere and simply refused your diagnostic fee at all costs. I feel I was seriously misled and mistreated. The manner in which your associate acted was completely unprofessional. I will no longer be returning to Babylon Honda. This experience is completely unacceptable for a certified Honda service center. I hope that for future customers, this communication issue will be resolved. P.s. I’d also like to add that it took almost a week and four rejected email addresses for me to finally get one that worked from whoever manages the service follow-up email account. I have not heard back. More
