Straight forward, honest and fast I came in for an oil change and to have a couple of recalls cleared and that's exactly what I received. No up-sale BS about windshield wipers or brakes, just exactly what I came in for. The waiting room is nice and clean and the "quiet room" off to the side is a great find. Not enough communication Brought my car in on a Tuesday afternoon to get some things fixed. Never heard from anyone that day; had to call the next morning (a few hours into th Brought my car in on a Tuesday afternoon to get some things fixed. Never heard from anyone that day; had to call the next morning (a few hours into them being open) to find out what was happening. They couldn't figure out the problem. I get it. Sometimes it takes a bit to figure out what the issue could be. But we live on LI, not in the city where mass transit is easily accessible. It was the middle of the work week. Some communication about it would have been fantastic. Got my car back after about 49 hours from first drop off. My rating of "no" is more reflective of historical events not with Steve or this visit. I had some negative experiences with another service employee historically, not Steve. (Like telling that guy for YEARS my tire light kept coming on. It had done that since I bought it. Always got blown off because "it's winter that happens sometimes" and I'm presuming, possibly unfairly but I doubt it, because I am obviously a young adult woman. Turns out the stupid goddamn sensors were leaking and they conveniently discovered the problem after the warranty expired. Still bitter about that.) But it's so conveniently close to my house and I'm an idiot who doesn't like change when it comes to this kind of stuff. More
