Never heard from anyone that day; had to call the next morning (a few hours into them being open) to find out what was happening. They couldn't figure out the problem. I get it. Sometimes it takes a bit to figure out what the issue could be. But we live on LI, not in the city where mass transit is easily accessible. It was the middle of the work week. Some communication about it would have been fantastic. Got my car back after about 49 hours from first drop off. My rating of "no" is more reflective of historical events not with Steve or this visit. I had some negative experiences with another service employee historically, not Steve. (Like telling that guy for YEARS my tire light kept coming on. It had done that since I bought it. Always got blown off because "it's winter that happens sometimes" and I'm presuming, possibly unfairly but I doubt it, because I am obviously a young adult woman. Turns out the stupid goddamn sensors were leaking and they conveniently discovered the problem after the warranty expired. Still bitter about that.) But it's so conveniently close to my house and I'm an idiot who doesn't like change when it comes to this kind of stuff. More

He told me how long the service should take and sure enough, I was out in that window of time. The inspection did not cost me anything and there was just a small charge for the oil change. Rude consultant overpriced repair I took car in for annual inspection the service consultant asked me right away if i ever had the batery jumped I told her no that i had bought it ther I took car in for annual inspection the service consultant asked me right away if i ever had the batery jumped I told her no that i had bought it there about a year ago A bit later when she came out to tell me what repairs needed to be done she asked me the battery question again I said no again she then told me the tech siad the radio was flashing enter code I told her that I was not able to find the code so I just did without it again she asked if I had the battery charged or taken out again I said no she persisted asking also mumbling something about it would not pass emissions if the battery was causing the error again i told her i never had the battery touched since i got it and i didn't know where the card was with the code If the tech can find the # then tell him to input it Next she told me the cost of the repair tp pass I needed the car right away so I agreeded to the price I later found out I could haVE HAD TWO POWER STEERING PUMPS PUT IN FOR WHAT THEY CHARGED FOR ONE I will say this is the 1st time in about 10 years that I had a bad experience at the repair station Maybe it was a fluke but maybe this is the new norm More
