Happy with Vehicle, Satisfied with Resolution We purchased a 2015 Subaru Forester certified pre owned vehicle. We are very happy with the car. And was very pleased with the help from Bret Files in getting us a very good rate on our financing. We have had the car now for over a month and are still as excited with it as we were the day we drove it off the dealer lot. We delayed in writing a review because we did have an issue that needed to be resolved. When we saw the car online the pictures showed that it came with a cargo screen in the back. But when we went to see the car at the dealership it was not there. I mentioned to James Howard the sales consultant that we were dealing with that it was missing. He admitted he took it out of this car to sell in another vehicle. But assured me that when we came back to process the purchase he would make sure that it was replaced. After we signed the paperwork, we finally got to look over the car again. I immediately looked at the cargo cover and was not pleased at what I saw. The cover was dirty and torn. I told him this was not acceptable. Since he admitted he took the cover from this car to sell in a newer vehicle, he should have replaced it with the same good quality. After numerous emails and phone calls back and forth with him, this issue was finally resolved and he replaced the cover with an appropriate and acceptable quality cover. Even though the delay in getting this issue resolved impacted our overall rating for this experience. We know that each experience can have a different outcome. So the next time we are looking for a new car we would still consider making the trip from PA to Cumberland again to deal with Thomas Subaru. More
