over Sold parts and dealers mistake cost me two days time I went to Thompson Toyota to have a drivers side mirror replaced. The housing and mechanicals were fine. Just needed replacement mirror was sold th I went to Thompson Toyota to have a drivers side mirror replaced. The housing and mechanicals were fine. Just needed replacement mirror was sold the entire unit. Being desperate to have it repaired I agreed. Was told the housing needed to be ordered and then painted. The parts manager asked if it was one color or two. I responded I didn’t know. He went to check on my car. Two days later I returned it was finished but they painted the black part also. Then the service writer called me and stated they would use my old part and take $50 off. I asked to have the service manager call me. He called, took the $50off the table and told me if I didn’t like it I could get my money back and take my old parts. This service manager was hostile and ignorant. I advised him I would never have service performed there again. Thompson’s lose, I was looking for a new Tacoma or 4Runner while I was waiting for my car. I’ll take my business where it is appreciated. I will retell my experience to anyone I know who needs service or I’d buying a vehicle and on social media and within organizations that I belong. I was never treated so rudely at any dealership. More
