These men were very friendly, knowledgeable and professional and kindly explained and answered every one of my questions. Purchasing any vehicle is a big decision and everyone wants to get a great vehicle at a fair price and all the more an excellent deal. After I made my selection they all made sure the sale was smooth and everything I needed was thoughtfully provided. I was so impressed how worked so well together as a team, they made me feel important and comfortable and their professionalism and attention to detail was very much appreciated. I am so thankful for them making the sale, finance process quick, efficient and painless and preparing paperwork and preparing the car. They allowed me to drive the CRV home overnight for a test drive and fell in love with it. Honestly, overall it was more than excellent experience with everyone; therefore, I would absolutely recommend anyone looking for a car to buy from these gentlemen at Thompson Mazda. I am really pleased with Sales Associate Michael Pagliaro he is one of the best sales person I've ever met, he is courteous and did not push you to buy a car like other agents do. EXCEPTIONALLY poor Customer Service I agree very strongly with the review written by Mazdaman2. We went to Thompson Mazda because they had a certified 2015 Mazda3 with all of the featur I agree very strongly with the review written by Mazdaman2. We went to Thompson Mazda because they had a certified 2015 Mazda3 with all of the features I was looking for. As we live in NoVA, it took us almost 2 hours to get there. We kept the salesman apprised of our status from the time we left home, the traffic we hit, etc. and he was aware that we would be getting there at closing time. Obviously, we were extremely interested in the vehicle. Although we wound up purchasing the vehicle, not only will we never purchase another vehicle from there again, we will ensure that all of our friends and family are aware of what we were subjected to and we will strongly discourage them from even considering making a purchase from Thompson Mazda. We also dealt with Bob and his sales manager. They acted like we were out of our minds with the offer we made and we fully expected them to make a counter offer. After all, isn't that how car buying works? Bob actually threw his pen down on the desk and got irritated! Told us we were done talking and didn't bother trying to work with us. Both Bob and his sales manager were EXTREMELY rude, condescending, disrespectful, and overall acted like bullies. Were they angry because we got there so late? If so, they could have told us not to bother driving all that way as they had other things to do/places to be. They didn't need to treat us so awfully. Although I got the car I wanted, I left with an extremely bad taste in my mouth. I will not make the same mistake again (purchasing a vehicle from this dealer) and will do all in my power to ensure that friends and family don't purchase from them either. More

Very dissatisfying experience there and for that reason won't purchase another car from Thompson. Now the follow up. The General Manager and Corey himself communicated with me very quickly and Corey called and apologized for the experience at the service desk. They made the "deal" right with a refund of the difference and an offer to detail both of our cars the next time we were in for service. It's less about the money and more about having a good relationship with a dealership where I do business and so I appreciate the response to my dissatisfaction. Thank you to Thompson. More

They never replaced my Rear Shock I been a customer for almost 3-4 years, as loyal customer, I don't have any issue with them until my last maintenance. I came there to do oil changes I been a customer for almost 3-4 years, as loyal customer, I don't have any issue with them until my last maintenance. I came there to do oil changes and tire rotation only, since I'm late in my appointment, the Service Manager told me that I was late and they going to closed in few hours. I explained that I was stuck in the traffic, but nevertheless he check it do the service. In few minutes, he told that I need to replace my rear shock, i have all kind engine oil leakages, need to change the spark plugs, need tune up and recondition.. the cost is $1,700. I was shocked! but hey I trust this dealer. So, I said go ahead and do the jobs. After next day they finished it. And this the problem shows up after a month, i saw a engine light. So ask for second opinion, which I tell them this is Mazda Thompson did to my car last month. My friend who is a mechanics inspect everything and he said, they are right that they fix the leakages in my engine, they probably change the spark plugs BUT! not my REAR SHOCK, because it has leakage and the bolts and nuts still in original. never been touch and still rusty. The rear shock is corroded with rust inside. So I went back to Thompson to complain about it., and they denied it, they said it was replaced new. The engine light is different case also, not part of the repair that they did. I insist that rear shock is the original shock, never been touch. The manager said that he will change it but he will not fix the engine light. They replaced it with brand new shock in front of me. So next time " Don't be late or the manager will charges you all they can see even if not needed" just beware... PS. I missed the old manager (He is honest) More
