Well here we are 6 months later and once again Gosch Hyundai is no help...The car my daughter traded in when she bought the new one was supposed to have needed serious repairs to the engine or even a ne Hyundai is no help...The car my daughter traded in when she bought the new one was supposed to have needed serious repairs to the engine or even a new one and there was no warranty. So this issue is as follows - she traded the car in on May 1st and apparently on May 24th the car was on the 91 freeway in Riverside in the FastTrack lane or at least the plates were. Of course the "ticket" of $2.50 was sent to her old address so she had no idea there was an issue. So in Sept she received a notice from a lawyer, once again to the old address. Again she had no idea. So yesterday Nov 8th she found out about this "ticket" and the penalties which are now up to $82.50. That was in Sept and it said to handle this with in 30 days or it will go up to $100. She contacts the lawyer and told them she gave the car to Gosch Hyundai May 1st. So question is WHAT DID GOSCH DO WITH THE CAR??? WHY IS IT STILL IN HER NAME??? IF THE ENGINE WAS NO GOOD, WHY WAS IT ON THE 91 FREEWAY 23 DAYS LATER??? Next question, WAS THE ENGINE REALLY THE PROBLEM????? I went to Gosch this morning and asked for a sales manager. The salesman asked what the issue was so I told him. I wanted to know what happened to the car. What did they do with it and with the plates. He went to talk to someone and came back with his reply - we just need to let the lawyer know she didn't own the car any more and they'll remove her from the ticket. That was not what I asked. I then told him where did the car and the plates go. The plates always stay on the car. I then asked him who took the car because if they took off the plates and illegally used the plates on another car, my daughter wanted in inform DMV... The manager would not help me or even come and talk to me (NO SURPRISE THERE) and they would not tell me what happened to the car. So did the mechanic lie about what was actually wrong with the car so she would have to get another one rather than pay thousands to fix it and they refuse to tell me or prove what happened to it or the engine was bad and Gosch and/or another company took off the plates for what reason??? WHY WON'T GOSCH HYUNDAI ANSWER QUESTIONS. We don't need them to tell us what to do, we already know, we need them to tell what they actually did with the car. More
