Purchased a 2019 Lincoln Navigator L Reserve and stipulated that the center console will require repair as a covenant of purchase. This dealership agreed and I had to wait 5 weeks as the repair mea stipulated that the center console will require repair as a covenant of purchase. This dealership agreed and I had to wait 5 weeks as the repair meant that the console had to be replaced. Time eventually replaced the console but with a used one that had defective wiring causing the passenger side air conditioning not to work. Time is not a Lincoln dealer, so I took to Courtesy Lincoln for an estimate. I informed Time of the estimate and asked for reimbursement. I was informed that Time had spent enough money on the Lincoln and would not reimburse me. Also, they did not offer to make repairs at their shop to help rectify the issue. I made a second call to Time asking if I could have the name of their attorney or authorized representative and was told that if I was thinking of bringing legal action, no one would be able to talk further with me. Again, no offer to make repairs at their shop. What a weak, irresponsible response. Because I was turned away after trying to bring resolve, I gave Courtesy authorization to make repairs. I also filed a formal complaint with the BBB. I am sure that because of this filing I received a communication from a Mr Dustin Conklin, Sales Manager asking me to bring the vehicle back to time to make repairs. I informed him that Time had been given every opportunity to make that offer to me but that I was turned away, and, I had given the approval to Courtesy to conduct repairs but that I would ask them to not move forward, if it was not too late. Well, it was too late. The original estimate for repair was $1,050.00 and the final invoice was a bit lower at $900.00. So where are we today? I am sending a demand letter for reimbursement to Mr. Conkin, Daniel Crainic (Owner/CEO), Kamal Chaer (General Manager) and Chenelle Miller (authorized representative. In addition, I will be following up with the BBB, State of Oregon Corporations Division, DMV (to ask that their license be revoked) and making a request to the Oregon Attorney General's office to investigate Time for consumer fraud specifically related to my case. This mindless act reflecting lack of consideration in trying to resolve this issue by representatives of Time, is inexcusable. Where is their sense of responsibility, and accountability to the consumer? All it would have taken is for Time to have shown ownership in their error to replace the center console and reimbursement to me of $900.00. Thinking, it will now cost them much more. Too bad, because I genuinely like the folks I dealt with. More
