After being told a customer(manager) had it for the weekend i returned Monday, no truck. I returned Tuesday, no truck. After three more calls Tuesday evening I was told the truck is being shipped to Grand Rapid, for a potential buyer in the morning. Ridicules! More
A Year Long Nightmare My year long experience with the Body Shop and Service Department at Todd Wenzel has been an absolute nightmare, to say the least. I went to Todd Wenz My year long experience with the Body Shop and Service Department at Todd Wenzel has been an absolute nightmare, to say the least. I went to Todd Wenzel after I was rear ended in July of 2017 based on a friends recommendation. Their body shop took 3 months to "fix" my car and when I initially got the car back it was apparent that they did more damage than was originally there. Their Body Shop manager at the time, Rick, was absolutely useless and refused to fix any of the damage that his repair team had caused. My back seat was broken after they had removed it, there was a huge gash in the hard plastic of my steering wheel, and they had scratched my rear window and tried to tell me that it was from my snow scraper..? These are just a few examples. The interior paneling in my back seat just fell out today and I realized that it was only held up with some thick type of adhesive. That seems to be a low standard for "Certified Service Experts". I have also been waiting for a call from Todd, the service manager, because he was supposed to be ordering me the hooks for my truck that they took out and never put back in. I have fought with Todd Wenzel for so long and it is so exhausting. All I ever asked of them was to fix my car the right way. This has been an awful experience and all I can do at this point is warn people about this dealership. Under no circumstance would I ever have anything repaired there. This ongoing ordeal with Todd Wenzel Buick GMC of Westland has been far worse than the actual car accident itself. More
Terrible Service This was a great dealership under Red Holman. Terrible now. In April I took my new vehicle in to have a side molding fixed. Never fixed the molding This was a great dealership under Red Holman. Terrible now. In April I took my new vehicle in to have a side molding fixed. Never fixed the molding, scratched the inner door attempting to fix and told they ordered the part and would call when it came in. NEVER called. When I wrote a bad review with GM, the service manager called and left a message that he wanted to talk to me. I called him back 3 times and he NEVER called me back. Today I made a 7am appointment to have my sunroof and slide fixed. I was the first car in. The service acted like he did not know anything about the appointment or my problem. He offered to have me taken to work or home. I said no, I would wait. The he informs me that the technician who works on this does not come in until 8am. And then he did not know when he could look at my vehicle. I asked him why did they make the appointment at 7am. He said I don’t know. I took my keys back asked the service advisor to have the service manager call me. He said he would. It is 8:15pm and. I call from anyone at the dealership I took my vehicle to Bob Jeanotte in Plymouth. I arrived at 7:45 and was greeted like a long standing customer. They got me in right away, fixed the sunroof, slide, put on a new side molding, and fixed 2 recalls I had on the vehicle. Good Wenzel never even mentioned those. In addition they gave me a loaner. At 11:30am my vehicle was ready!!! Todd Wenzel has a pat answer for all these complaints, we value customer service. They do NOT!!! They have lost me as a customer . More
Key Still Sticks in Ignition After 4 Repairs Recently my 2007 Pontiac Torrent has had a problem with the key being unable to turn to the Lock position and I have trouble removing my key after tur Recently my 2007 Pontiac Torrent has had a problem with the key being unable to turn to the Lock position and I have trouble removing my key after turning the car off. I've had it in at Todd Wenzel Buick GMC of Westland and they first replaced the Ignition Lock Cylinder and Ignition Switch and said it was fixed. It wasn't, no change. I took it back and they replaced the gear shift linkage and an ignition actuator. They said it was fixed. It wasn't, the key still sticks in the ignition when turning the car off half the time. So after around $600 in repairs I've got no improvement. I've emailed a customer service rep with no response in a week. At this point I cannot recommend this dealer for service. More
Unfair business practices I was conned into stopping in because I looked up my car's value on KBB.com They said, aww.. we will give you more than that.. they also said the U I was conned into stopping in because I looked up my car's value on KBB.com They said, aww.. we will give you more than that.. they also said the UC Manager would be waiting for me with a few cars in mind to trade for. When I arrived, I was dumped off to a salesman who had no clue I was coming, about the prior conversation. When I explained, he shrugged it off... Then I explain where I needed to be to make any sort of a deal, they continued the charade by acting like it would be possible. They offered me $2300 for my wife's 2010 Malibu which she drives every day. Their 2010 Malibu (QH81354B) on their used car inventory was listed for $5995. Of course, mine is gray, theirs is silver. Perhaps that is the reason... Their 2011 Cruze (T80732A)with more miles than mine is priced at $6394.. Guess how much they offered for my 2011 cruze? You guessed it.. $3500.. I was like.. ok, I will play along.. I want to buy 2 used Equinoxes, yours are priced $7995 each.. how much will you reduce the price to help me make a deal... my answer: Ohh $200 or so... hmmmmm..... just doesn't seem fair, does it? If we deal retail to retail and wholesale to wholesale, maybe we make a deal... I can pay cash... but of course, they want you to finance.. my scores are near 800, but I doubt they want that either; since they can charge more for interest for someone with lower scores... You just gotta love it... They should still wear the plaid suits and smoke cigars.. More
Highly Upset with the deception I am currently in a lease from Todd Wenzel in Westland and had an ok enough experience to send my wife there to purchase a vehicle. My sales person f I am currently in a lease from Todd Wenzel in Westland and had an ok enough experience to send my wife there to purchase a vehicle. My sales person from last year no longer works there (first sign of trouble) and she dealt with Matt who I met a few days earlier. She was shown options of different vehicles and landed on a 2017 Acadia Limited. She was lied to about the cost of the vehicle. On top of that she was credit shamed and the finance officer, Dan, tried to bully and pressure my wife into the the sale. She left the dealership not feeling good about her transaction and was made to feel a burden instead of a valued customer. I plan to meet with her sales rep and cancel out the transaction with GMC Financial. More

We have purchased multiple vehicles from Mr. White and the experience has been awesome Can't say enough about Larry White and his team at Todd Wenzel! We have purchased multiple vehicles from Mr. White and the experience has been awesome. It's disappointing that people only come online and give ratings when people slip up...mistakes will happen, but I have never experienced this at Todd Wenzel GMC/ Buick! More

I left within 5 minutes of the My daughter saw a used Saturn on Todd Wenzel's website, she wants a Saturn, she called and was told they had the car. I left within 5 minutes of the call and drove the 35 minutes to the Todd Wenzel dealership. Out came a nice gentleman, I told him wanted to see the Saturn. He pulled a printed list of cars out of his pocket and pointed at the Saturn listing, I said that's it. We went inside to get the keys. After looking at the key board for a minute he says no keys. The salesman picks up the phone, talks to someone and tells me it is gone, sold. I explain we just saw it and called on it can we at least see it as it must still be there. He says it's not, it was sold to a wholesaler days ago. I explain how can that be, it's online right now and my daughter just called. He was nice, apologized, etc. I asked why would you have a car listed for sale online and it's not here? He explained it is a problem, they all know, the dealership knows, this happens all the time, he doesn't have any control over it. I said we even called, this is ridiculous, he agreeeded. Then he asked where my daughter called from and I said at college in Kalamazoo, he said that makes sense, the call would be routed to the Grand Rapids call center which is just a "bunch of kids who know nothing about what is actually on the lot and their job is just to get you to come to the dealership". A huge waste of time, scam/bait you in, etc. While driving home I was so irritated I called the dealership and asked if the General Manager was there, the girl said yes (can't remember off-hand but maybe it was Larry) she transferred me and it went to his voicemail. I left a polite message regarding what happened and that I was not happy, with my phone number. Never received any call back. That was the beginning and end of GM car ownership for me. More
