Today, I visited with my dealership for the Auto Butler Service for one of vehicles purchased here. I have been a customer since 2005 and I can honestly say that the professional and personal service I ha Service for one of vehicles purchased here. I have been a customer since 2005 and I can honestly say that the professional and personal service I have been receiving all these years is second to none! It is worthy to note that the team at Tom Gibbs in the persons of Mike Nailor, Michael Bustler, Bill Atwood & Tom Gibbs himself, who know their business well, is the reason I keep coming back! Their professionalism has never waivered! More
Don't get your car Serviced here!!! Brought it in for Diagnostics because Air Conditioner wasn't working. Told me it was the Shrader Valve. Charged me $344. Then came back out after they put that in and Diagnostics because Air Conditioner wasn't working. Told me it was the Shrader Valve. Charged me $344. Then came back out after they put that in and said it was the compressor. Of course it was the compressor, if you turned the car on, you could hear that it didn't come on. The service guy not mentioning names said well why didn't you tell me that, it would have been nice. Are you kidding me, they are suppose to be the professionals and brought it there to get diagnosed. Then had the nerve to say that whoever looked at the car to see if there was anti freeze, broke the valve. NO THEY DIDN'T. He also told me there was no anti freeze in the car. Also, a lie. The car when put on the meter had enough. So, I was charged 166 dollars because he gave me a discount. Imagine that, gave me a discount for something I never needed. I should of had them take the xxxx valve out and put the old one back in. Well, just so you know, I just got back from another dealer. The whole job cost 460, they gave me a quote of $950. What is the problem at this place. I will never go back. Also, an older lady was sitting in the waiting area there for a certain problem with her car. One of the service guys comes out and tells her that the problem that she came in for was okay, but that she needed over 700 in tires. Well, the poor lady didn't have anyone their with her, and was just forced into saying yes. I told her to tell them that you need to speak to your son first, and not to have it done today. Let your son make that decision with you. Well, thank god she did tell them not to do it. Her tires didn't even need changing yet. They should be ashamed of themselves doing this to people. Stay Away, Stay Far Away. More
Advice: warranty-get your diagnostics-take your vehicle home. Warranty parts takes 1day or 2 to confirm. Vehicle held hostage with promises of completion "soon" home. Warranty parts takes 1day or 2 to confirm. Vehicle held hostage with promises of completion "soon" More
I made an appointment to have the radiator and transmission fluid flushed and changed in my Corvette. I dropped off the car early in the morning and was told they would call me when it was ready. Since I never received a call from them I called about 15 minutes before closing and was told my car was in the garage but they hadn’t started work on it. This was after having made an appointment for a specific day two weeks prior. I had to leave my special car with them overnight for simple preventative maintenance. The service writer assured me that he would personally follow up on having my car ready early the next day. Again I had no call the next day and so by the afternoon I decided to call and my service writer for the status on my car. I was told that he was on vacation that day and after several phone transfers to other people I was told the mechanic was just finishing up and my car would be ready in an hour. I was satisfied with the work done but not with the whole run around after having made an appointment two weeks prior. More

Yes my 2500HD has free oil changes for life, but the service is why I keep going back. I have made appointments and got great service and I have stopped in without an appointment and got great service. Each time I was there, the service advisor made me aware of any service up and coming, during the service let's ne know if anything needs immediate attention and when I was done, let's me know if something needs attention next visit. I also noticed they have the same advisors there which means to me that the advisor is more in tune to you the customer. My advisor remembered some things 2 services ago which I forgot about. I am very pleased and can't wait to get another vehicle here. More

Beware the warranty! My 80 year old father and I evacuated for the hurricane in Sept 2017. We left my car behind because Dad loves his truck and a car is just a car. His My 80 year old father and I evacuated for the hurricane in Sept 2017. We left my car behind because Dad loves his truck and a car is just a car. His 2001 Chevrolet Silverado has less than 70,000 miles on it because he babies it so. On the way home the transmission went out. We took it to Wes Haney Chevrolet in Live Oak, Florida because it was the closest Chevrolet “certified service” dealer to where we were. Rented a car and went home. On the 21st of Sept I drove hours back to get his truck. 491 miles on the odometer later, the driveway is covered in pepto bismal pink fluid. Had the truck towed to Tom Gibbs Chevrolet in Palm Coast, Florida. The transmission was hooked up to the radiator and vice versa. Oops. No big deal. It’s warranty, right? Fix it. Five Mondays later I go to get the truck. Surprise, they didn’t replace the radiator. They just flushed it. Needless to say the truck barely made it home. Had another mechanic look at it and there is still antifreeze in the transmission. Now Wes Haney won’t fix it because Tom Gibbs touched it last. Tom Gibbs won’t fix it because Wes Hany messed it up first. I’m sure in addition my 80 year old father will have to replace the water pump and radiator too. Out $2700. Have a lovely black and chrome yard ornament that I have to pay insurance on every month and no one at either dealer cares. Please be aware that “certified service” only means if they want to take care of it. Am placing this on every Chevrolet dealer website I can find to let people know that the warranty is only good at the independent dealer that does the work originally no matter what the receipt says. YES, THERE IS A SANTA CLAUS AND GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I was coming back from Daytona Beach on I-95 at night when my engine light came on. I was able to get to Flagler Beach without a problem. I looked on- I was coming back from Daytona Beach on I-95 at night when my engine light came on. I was able to get to Flagler Beach without a problem. I looked on-line to schedule a service appointment and the first appointment available was on Wednesday, December 27th at 11:00 AM. That was five days from now. I made the decision to drive to Gibbs Chevrolet the next morning at 7:30 AM so I could talk to a tech about my car. Daniel Gauthier said hello and I told him what had happened the previous night. I asked if he could have a service tech look at my car without an appointment. He said that he would be able to that. I know how busy this time of year is and I am glad that I got there early. I was there before the techs were. Daniel asked me if I needed a ride home and I told him that I would wait. My car is going to need 2 coil packs and 6 plugs. I will be returning to Giggs Chevrolet for this work to be done . A business is only as good as its reputation and I am giving Daniel and the dealership high marks. More
