Terrible finance experience with finance guy My sales guy was great and helpful. The finance guy was a joke. i would not have such a rude and arrogant individual talking direct to any customer of My sales guy was great and helpful. (i just got out of bankruptcy so my credit options are limited) The finance guy comes and sits down with me after i finish up with my sales guy and says that on a normal day he would never be speaking to a person like me but today is my lucky day. (really on a normal day you wouldn't talk to a person like me?) He starts talking about a some promotion but that stuff didn't stick in my head. this is what i remembered from our convo-----> after some back and fourth he tells me that the $31,000 car that i was interested in was too expensive for me. So i told him if i put $10,000 down im sure a bank could approve the loan. he tells me that the bank is gonna say ima fraud if i have $10,000 because i just came out of bankruptcy. he then proceeds to say that even if i put $30,000 down on a $31,000 vehicle the banks still wouldn't touch it. the guy was talking loud and just being a jerk. maybe because i was in a Volkswagen dealership looking at a preowned Audi that was on sale but the owner was using for personal use. who knows. but thank you Volkswagen of Union, NJ. You definitely left a bad taste in my mouth and i will spread this story to every single person i know and post on every website that youre on. More

a nurse in need I am a nurse in a large Medical center. I work in a highly specialized unit. I love what I do and I NEED to get to work. People depend on me. I am a nurse in a large Medical center. Conversely, I also NEED to get home...... especially on nights where there is a major snowstorm, or nights where I just NEED to come home and hang! Over the years my Volkswagen Jetta has always been there for me. It had the stability and ability to navigate through snow storms. I always got home safely. I appreciated heated seats on cold nights, a moon roof on clear nights, and a sound system to help me to decompress. Recently and sadly, my Jetta decided to give out on me, drop its transmission and succumb to an early demise. In other words...........IT DIED ON ME. Needless to say I was disappointed. Ironically Mike Nunes, a salesman from Union VW called me and patiently listened to my tale of woe and replied, "I want to help you, let me talk to my manager..... Mike called back within 30 minutes with a plan. Mike Nunes’ plan took care of my old Jetta and found the perfect car for me. He understood that it was more than a car to me! He demonstrated knowledge and dependability, he instilled a sense of trust, and effortlessly displayed genuine compassion. More

He found the exact model and in the colors I was looking for and helped us end with a fantastic price. He was also very concerned with making sure I was happy with the car along with my parents, where as most other dealerships were strictly concerned with pleasing my parents. But it was so smooth with Union VW, it was untrue. I have to surely acknowledge the great efforts and camaraderie of our sales point of contact, Adrian Roberts. No hidden charges (One of the VW dealers that I had signed up earlier actually had hidden charges of almost $900.) , no haggling negotiations etc. In fact, I got picked from my place for me to collect the vehicle. There was no pressure to put down some deposit to block the car. They worked on the deal as soon as we had a verbal commitment. They kept their word on the verbal commitment, as is. I have had regular follow ups since buying the car on my experience.I have not known such service in the US car dealer industry. I drove 30 miles to buy from them and dont regret it a bit. I highly recommend this place, if you are looking to buy a Volkswagen. And ask for Adrian. More

They didn't have the car I wanted in stock, they worked with me to order one that would be a month before I would have it built and delivered. Then 1 day later they called to say they had located one and had it transit from another dealer. I picked the car up the next day. Thats service and great follow up. More
