I also appreciate that the dealership was able to use my recent graduation to get a better deal worked out on my lease. I'm happy so far with the follow-up and how my questions were answered, and that the folks there were willing to run financing vs. lease numbers on two different models. I think a survey is useless without constructive criticism, and mine is that I heard the classic "what can I do to get you in the car today?", as well as the same "what is your credit rating on a scale of 1-10?" from two different salespeople. I think the dealership would benefit from having the sales consultant I worked with run up the financial numbers, instead of deferring to another person in a separate office. That part of the sales experience felt like a cookie-cutter "closer" scheme. If the price could have come down a little further, I could have been in the model that I really wanted, but I understand that dealerships and salespeople have goals to hit and mouths to feed like the rest of us. In addition, it would be smart to advise customers on how long they can expect for the entire transaction to be complete (I understand that it takes time to draw up the paperwork and that a long time can be viewed as a "deal-killer" by a sales team). I'd like to emphasize that Ricardo, in particular, was pleasant, knowledgeable and approachable, which is exactly the type of salesman I want to deal with in this situation. More
