Poor business practices I purchased a used car from this dealership in July. My actual purchase experience was fine. But getting my registration has been a completely differe I purchased a used car from this dealership in July. My actual purchase experience was fine. But getting my registration has been a completely different story. Apparently in NJ you have no choice but to go through the dealer to get your registration. This dealer doesn’t seem to care if you get it or not. My first temp tag expired and I had to fight to get another one since they didn’t seem to know where my registration was. Another 30 days passed, and guess what? Second temp tag expired and still no registration. It should have been a simple plate transfer. It is nearly impossible to get anyone on the phone, and even then they it seems they just want to get you off the phone without giving any answers. When someone finally looked into this for me, I found out that VW of Union never got the title from Capital One when they bought the car at auction. It took a ridiculous amount of effort to get that much information. Now the person I spoke to previously won’t take my call and I am trying to get to the general manager to get an update. I paid good money for the car and I paid for the registration. I cannot drive my car without risking a ticket. And this dealer can’t be bothered to get my registration, or the title. I have tried to be patient and nice and they give me nothing. Once the papers are signed they do not care about you. If you choose to buy a car here, I would suggest making sure they show you proof they have the title on hand before signing anything. I will add they offered me a loaner car, but only if I let them keep my vehicle until the registration comes in. At this point, I don’t trust them enough to leave my vehicle with them for an indefinite period of time. More

Excellent help I just got off airplane and picked up my car,then I got flat tire! Imagine how upset I was. I called a towing service to tow my car to this dealer wit I just got off airplane and picked up my car,then I got flat tire! Imagine how upset I was. I called a towing service to tow my car to this dealer without knowing what would happen. But to my surprises, although they seemed to be busy, they took care of me right away. After they confirmed my tire was available in the inventory, they installed the tire and also checked other three tires for me. I was very happy about their service. Thank you! More
