Replace tire and rim Let me say at the outset that I did not leave the facility on Monday a happy customer. I spent an hour and thirty minutes there without getting what I came for. Yes, I had a key reprogrammed but I would have happily left with a non-functioning key if I did not need to return to the facility for a third time. I took the day off on Monday to have a tire and rim I ordered installed. When the box holding the rim was opened it was discovered that it was not the right rim. A couple things about that: why did it take an hour to tell me this and why wasn’t the box opened to check the merchandise when it arrived? I may have felt better about the whole experience if I had gotten the impression from my service consultant that she understood what a huge and unnecessary inconvenience this was. Instead I was told all the reasons that this couldn’t be avoided. Not what I was interested in hearing. Lastly, what makes this even more upsetting is that I had a similar situation happen with a rim and tire before. That time they could not locate the rim and I had to make another trip to the facility. Interestingly, I mentioned that incident when the part was ordered. Some of the staff remembered that had happened. Seems like a bigger effort would have been made to make sure that nothing like that happened again. I am happy to talk to management about my experience. More
