Before he could continue, we cut him off and said "Thanks but no Thanks" We found ourselves in another dealer a few hours later and within 2 hours we were driving home with our new (used) suv. Yes, they honored our pre-approval letter (they tried to beat it but realized they couldn't) and everyone was happy! We honestly can't remember the gentleman's name (finance manager). If we could, his name would be all over this badreview. More

Great buying experience I shopped around on the internet before committing myself to a new car and, by far, Volkswagen of Union offered the best deal. When I went to the deal I shopped around on the internet before committing myself to a new car and, by far, Volkswagen of Union offered the best deal. When I went to the dealership, they honored the offer to the penny. In addition, the salesperson, Rick Farfan, was very helpful, he answered all questions promptly. The test drive was very useful, he took us to the service department, which is hepful, of course. Overall, smooth and pleasant experience, I did not feel the usual pressure associated with buying a new car. They created a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, I can recommend the dealership to anyone looking for a VW. More
Not so great experience after the purchase On November 7, 2017, I purchased a new Volkswagen Atlas SEL 4Motion from Volkswagen of Union with trade-in of my Land Rover Discovery Sport. The sale On November 7, 2017, I purchased a new Volkswagen Atlas SEL 4Motion from Volkswagen of Union with trade-in of my Land Rover Discovery Sport. The sales experience was good on that day, and I am happy with the new vehicle I purchased. However, about 3 weeks later, I noticed that the new car's registration sticker still not come, and my trade-in's loan balance was not paid off by the dealership as stated in the Sales Contract. I called and they told me that they have 30-days to pay off the loan (NJ legislation required the dealers to pay off loans on trade-ins within 15 days of acquiring them (NJ LEGISLATURE ASSEMBLY, No. 4980)). As of today (12/4/17), my loan balance still remains, and my new registration sticker still not show up in my mailbox. I contacted the sales manager and he said he will follow up with these issues. Let's hope that the dealership will do the right thing and resolve these matters in a timely manner. Update on 12/12/17 After speaking with Patrick of the Dealership on 12/4/17, and he promised me that they will overnight the check on 12/7/17 (30 days after the trade-in) to Land Rover Financial to pay off the loan, I was hoping that this dealership will conduct business in a decent manner. However, as of today, my loan balance remains and neither the salesperson Ralph nor the sales manager Patrick picks up their phones. I may have to contact the Union County Consumer Affairs Office and a Consumer Protection Attorney to have this issue resolved. Update on 1/7/18 After multiple attempts to resolve the issue with the dealership and unable to reach a resolution, I contacted Union County Consumer Affairs Office and filed a complaint online. The Investigator contacted me and reached out to Volkswagen of Union. My trade-in's loan was finally paid off with the contracted amount on 12/26/16. However, due to the delay of the paid off is made, additional interest was accumulated and the refund that the bank issued to me was less than what I forced to pay to avoid negative impact on my credit score. I addressed this issue with the Investigator and I finally receive a check for the interest I paid after the trade-in from Volkswagen of Union today. It's the first time I experience this type of issue with new vehicle purchase, and this is the first time I purchase my car outside of New York State. Form the comments I received from another reviewing website, I am not the only one have this type of issue with this dealership. Buyers need to be aware and stand to protect their right if necessary. Various laws are in place to protect consumers in all States, the Consumer Affairs Office and the State's DMV are good places to seek help if you experience this type of issue. More

Amazing Experience I was honestly debating to go look for a car, as I had not very nice experiences in the past with dealerships. VW in Union was amazing, From the minutes I requested information online. I got a call and email from Bruno. He was very nice, gave me the information I wanted over the phone and made an appointment with him. I also worked with Kevin Santos , who was extremely nice, made us feel very comfortable, he was fast, efficient and extremely professional. They were very honest to answer our question, and we felt they were trying to get us the best deal at all times, instead of just selling a car. My anxiety was gone the minute I got there, as everyone was so nice. Bruno and Kevin made this experience very nice one. I will absolutely recommend VW of Union. ( coffee is also amazing 😉). I LOVE MY NEW WV ATLAS . More
