Have only had poor experiences with the service dept We bought a new Atlas in October 2018. We brought it in for a minor repair to the bumper (hit a rock buried in the snow). We'd also requested to hav We bought a new Atlas in October 2018. We brought it in for a minor repair to the bumper (hit a rock buried in the snow). We'd also requested to have it checked for leaks as it was clearly leaving oil spots in the driveway. The car was at the dealership for 2-3 days before they suggested we pick it up since the replacement part was not yet available. A day or two later we were notified the part came in, and we had to bring the car BACK to the dealership. This dealership does not offer loaner vehicles. In all, it took more than a week to get a small panel on the bumper repaired. We were told there were no leaks. This past week, the car broke down (only has 10k miles on it). It turns out an oil leak led to the serpentine belt breaking. The mechanic at the dealership where the repairs were done (not the same as this Union dealership) confirmed a leak causing this kind of break down should have been easy to notice. I also went in person to the Union service center, and a staff member also suggested a leak like this would have been easy to find. I'm doubtful the car was ever actually checked for a leak in the first place. When I asked to speak to a manager about this issue (on a Friday at midday), the staff mentioned the manager wouldn't be in until Tuesday the following week. I've yet to have an experience with this service department that even met the basest of expectations. More
