I called the service center a few days in advance to schedule an appointment for an oil change and a general 20,000 mile check up. i was offered the t I called the service center a few days in advance to schedule an appointment for an oil change and a general 20,000 mile check up. i was offered the time I requested (9:00am) without hesitation. I was greeted warmly and professionally as expected and Victoria listened to my concerns and explained their procedures. I mentioned that I would be waiting in the lounge while my car was being serviced and I was concerned about the length of time it would take. I told Victoria I’d like to have the car back no later than 11:30 so I could get ready to go to work. She asked,”How about 10:30?” I said sure, not expecting to hold her to that time but it gave me a good window anyway. So off I went to enjoy a cup of coffee and make a few phone calls in the lounge. I discovered a few VW e-coupons in my email and walking back to the service desk to see if they would honor them and apply them to this bill which they were happy to do. I hadn’t been watching the time because I was enjoying my coffee and calls but coincidentally when I enquired about the coupons I glanced at my watch and it was 10:20. Victoria said, “Oh, your car’s ready. It’s just being washed. It will here soon.” I thanked her, turned to pay my bill and no sooner did I put down my pen then there was my shiny clean car waiting for me and Victoria handling me back my keys with a beautiful complimentary VW key fob attached.
