Normally, I don’t write online reviews, but I am so infuriated by my experience I thought it fit to warn other people from the disservice they provide at the “service center”. I tested my Jeep at home and found that the fuel pump could have been faulty, but I wasn’t sure why my Jeep was not running. Since I did not know how to replace it myself, I contacted the dealer to get an estimate. After talking with the service rep, she assured me they did not have a fuel pump in stock and that it would cost me $229 to order it new – but informed me that the pumps were discontinued. She suggested that I look at Napa Autoparts and that they could install the pump for me for $187. Luckily, I found the pump at Napa, purchased it for $104. I then had my Jeep towed to Dick’s Country Chrysler Jeep Dodge service center with the new fuel pump in the passenger seat. I spoke with the service manager, April, over the phone and she told me that they had everything under control. The next day I receive a call that my Jeep is ready to pick up so I brought my 2 year old daughter and wife with me to pick up the Jeep. After arriving, the desk clerks charged me $355 dollars for the labor that I was quoted for $187 over the phone. Being the understanding person that I am, I gladly paid them expecting my car to function as normal. After trying to start my Jeep, to my surprise, the Jeep wouldn’t start. It seems the technician did not even put the key in the ignition to verify that the Jeep would start after he installed the new fuel pump, nor did he run any diagnostics. Of course, I had to re-enter the service center and tell them my car was not ready because 1. It didn’t start and I couldn’t drive it 2. They didn’t run diagnostics on it to identify the cause of the problem The next day they called me back and told me that diagnostics showed that my Idle Air Control motor was faulty and that it would be about $600 in labor to fix it – of course, they didn’t have the part in stock. After looking on youtube and my service manual for a few minutes, I purchased the part at Napa for $50, drove to the service center where my Jeep was sitting on the side of the building with the window down un-attended, and proceeded to replace my own Idle Air Control motor. All that was needed was a Torx 20 bit, a xxxxxxx, and less than 5 minutes of time. After unscrewing 2, yes only 2 screws, I replaced my Idle Air Control motor and was able to start my jeep without any problems. I drove my car to the other side of the building to pay for the disservice, where I found that they charged me $150 to identify that a $50 motor and 2 screws was buggering up my car. Keep in mind they wanted $600 to perform the same task that only took 5 minutes for me to perform. On paying the clerk, April the service manager, wouldn’t even look at me. In fact, April was talking to the clerk about my ticket right in front of me across the room, clearly she didn’t want to help nor did she care about any of my auto problems. Fortunately, April wished me a good weekend on my way out. I don’t wish this sort of service on anyone, so if you ever need any repairs on your vehicle, seek out a private mechanic with a good reputation. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and their regional office to ask if they know that this sort of unethical work is being performed in Oregon. More

I do appreciate the fact that she would see fit to reach out to us, but I still wish the finance manager at Dick's Country Dodge would have been more honest and straightforward about the whole transaction. Update 8/25/2015: While our experience with the sales staff at this dealership was great, I have since had an additional problem with the finance department. The issues related to finalizing this transaction unfortunately outweigh the positive experience we had with the sales department. Aside from pulling our credit without permission, we have learned that they didn't send the agreed upon amount to pay off our previous auto loan. They were to have sent $8000 to Wells Fargo, which was more than enough to pay off the loan so we'd get any overage back from Wells Fargo. Instead they sent only $7753.52. Today, 19 days after our truck purchase, I called to find out where the extra money went. They say they sent a check already, but we have yet to receive it. Now "the check's in the mail" - how convenient. It is very important to me that the companies I do business with do what they say they are going to do. In this case - they did not do what we agreed upon (as noted on our purchase agreement) - which was to send the full $8000 to Wells Fargo. Unacceptable. Consequently I have updated my review. The only reason I am leaving even 2 stars is due to the positive experience with the sales staff. _________________________________________________________________________ I think we got a fair deal here, and I appreciate the patience and help from Randy May. Our experience with Randy was top notch (even though I bugged him with questions via email and telephone for two days before we came in to buy the truck - he's a patient man!) I didn't know anything about Ram trucks when we started this process and he answered all my questions and even matched a price I saw at another dealership. A+ I could do without the slick upsell attempts during the final paperwork with the finance guy - Especially the theft deterrent. Like I'm not going to notice $399 slipping by... And running my credit under the guise of "the patriot act" was pure bull. I had my own financing secured and never gave permission. Overall, the experience was great until the last part. You gotta be on your toes when you get in that finance office. I wish it wasn't like that, but it usually is - at all dealerships except the one time when I bought from a friend at Carr Subaru who told the finance manager ahead of time not to give me the spiel. We'd come back to this dealership if we needed another vehicle. And, we'd ask for Randy. Poor Randy - but I bet he would be ready for even more questions. More

On a whim I did an online search and found just the one I wanted with the exact color and features in Hillsboro, OR. Not to be deterred I took the train down to Portland and light rail over to Hillsboro. I was met at the light rail station by Jason and from there on out he handled everything with utmost patience and knowledge. He kept me informed throughout the whole navigation through the interstate sales process with ease. He showed me how to use all of the features and even was patient with me while I waited for a software upgrade. Then lastly he helped me find a scenic route home to avoid all of the freeway traffic. Talk about the extra mile. I highly recommend checking in with Jason when you need a new vehicle. More

I had window stickers sent of vehicles they could get in the area, and we arranged for a time that we could sit down and work out a deal. The whole deal start to finish was completed in about 90 minutes and it was fantastic! They found my vehicle and had it for me the next day! Would certainly recommend this dealership to anyone that is looking for a Jeep! They did a fantastic job at earning and will keep my business. It's a drive to get there for sure, but well worth it! I was able to order a Ram truck with exactly the options I wanted and when all was said and done it cost within $600 of a "Dave Smith" deal in Kellogg Idaho. And the best part was I was still in Oregon and didn't have to drive many hundreds of miles to bring back my rig. Jeremy understood my requirements and as my truck progressed from build sheet to assembled product and finally delivered he kept me informed every step of the way. I would recommend this person to everyone interested in purchasing a Dodge Ram truck . Rob Rinder the finance guru did a great job arranging my loan. Very painless and quick. More
