I can't say enough good things about my years of experience with the Service Department at Tonkin Wilsonville Nissan, and specifically with their Service Director, Bill Rush. I have had my vehic experience with the Service Department at Tonkin Wilsonville Nissan, and specifically with their Service Director, Bill Rush. I have had my vehicle, my 3rd Nissan 300zx, serviced at Tonkin Wilsonville Nissan since it first opened. I relocated here from out of state, and at that time, the only Nissan dealership within my area was Beaverton Nissan. After MULTIPLE horrifying, and dangerous, experiences there, I began to look for another Nissan dealership to service "my baby," as I refused to EVER return to Beaverton Nissan. I was pleased when Tonkin Wilsonville Nissan opened, but was reluctant and skeptical, after the horrible experiences with Beaverton Nissan. I worried that this was typical treatment for Nissan dealerships here in Oregon. But since it was important to me to have my vehicle dealer-serviced, I decided to take a chance. And I am SO glad I did. Having been in the customer service field for my entire career, I am especially particular when it comes to my car. Bill Rush is absolutely the epitome of what you hope for in a service department manager. And that highest level of quality is a requirement for all of Bill's staff. Bill and his team are beyond professional, courteous, and friendly. To say Bill has gone out of his way to help me is an understatement, to say the least. Bill has gone WAY above and beyond, and has done so willingly and with a smile, and asks if he can do anything more. Bill's service department is IMMACULATE. I'm greeted warmly at the door and my service needs are quickly and thoroughly evaluated and written up. The work done there is competitively-priced and FAST. The staff keeps me apprised of the status of my vehicle as it progresses, as I always wait while my car is serviced. I'm comforted in the knowledge each of Bill's service members treat my vehicle as if it was their own. And finally, my vehicle is washed and delivered back to me in squeaky-clean and SAFE condition. If the first-rate quality of Bill's service department is any indication, I look forward to being able to buy my next vehicle from the Tonkin Wilsonville Nissan sales department. I thank Bill Rush for being such an all-around great guy, and highly recommend him and his team for quality done with expertise and a smile. I would recommend this dealership to anyone who is looking for a new or used car. I have purchased several cars over the years with less than desirable experiences (pushy salesman, ambiguous financing looking for a new or used car. These people are straight forward, friendly, and knowledgeable. After walking out of a popular dealership that would not give me a straightforward price on a car, I called them up and received a quote over the phone. Still uncertain of the quote, which was way below the competition, I made my way there only to find myself purchasing a car at the quoted price. I never do these ratings though wanted to express how genuinely impressed I am with the way this company does business. I only wish I didn't waste so much time at other dealers before coming to this one. More

I went in to Tonkin to purchase a 2007 Nissan Murano. The dealer had the vehicle I was looking for at the right price. Mr. Doran was helpful and quite courteous in assisting me with my purchase. I got the car I wanted for the price I wanted. I am quite happy with my used vehicle and I feel that Tonkin Nissan provided a quality product at a fair price. After dealing with more than a handful of closers in your industry over the years, I'm pleased to say that Mr. Alderman was by far the best yet. He brought a very personal touch to the experience and didin't seem pushy. Sean's knowledge base was extensive. However, he wasn't over-powering with auto-jargon. We found the dealership in Wilsonville to be hospitable, clean and professionally maintained. The new Salesperson, Robert, and the Finance Mgr., Bryce, rounded out a positive experience quite nicely. Like I said, the customer service from Jay "Jay" Palacio was WAY BEYOND A "10", believe me,HE IS SOMETHING...... CAN not say enough about the FRIENDLINESS FROM ALL THE OF THESE PEOPLE THAT I LISTED ABOVE....THAT IS James "Jay" Palacio (sales rep) (GREAT GUY)---Sean Alderman, also a super person-----and last but not least!!!Damien Lopez went way out of his way, and he is their FINANCE MANAGER......very nice person OVER ALL EXPERIENCE....TOPS!-TOPS!-TOPS!!!!!!!! AND THE "PRICE"----Checked all around for pricing on the internet, and THEIR PRICES ON THE "ROGUE 2011's" THAT WE WERE LOOKING FOR, WERE ABOUT $2,000 TO $2,500 DOLLARS LESS THAN OTHER DEALERS IN THE VANCOUVER, WA AND PORTLAND. From the minute we walked in, we were treated very well and felt at ease with the salespeople and other employees. No car dealership has amazingly cheap prices, but their offers were very great. We left with some estimates, and felt no pressure from them to buy; they only gave us all of the information they could on what vehicles we were interested in, and made suggestions and reccomendations. We came back a few hours later and bought from them due to their amazing customer service, and of course, because of the prices/quality they offered us. I'd say the only down side to the whole experience was A: the freezing-cold weather which made it hard to look around as much as we wanted to, and B: our inability to decide on which car to buy from them- they treated us that well. I know if we have to buy another car, we are certainly going to them FIRST! More
Jay Palacio was very friendly, personable and not pushy during the course of the sale. We would definitely like to work with him again. He did not try to get us to buy a Nissan even though the dealership s during the course of the sale. We would definitely like to work with him again.
