The lot, building, personnel, offices, ambiance, service and above all the car and the price all came to together for a quick and almost painless (I did have to pay for it . . . ) transaction. Unless you want to pay much more for luxury branding, my CRV EXL is as much luxury as my Mercedes, with all the bells and whistles. I recommend these guys over the competition. Clint awesome but the time took to do my oil change not good I went in at 8:30 to do an oil change and was happy when Clint let me know about a special that would allow me to come back an additional 2 times for I went in at 8:30 to do an oil change and was happy when Clint let me know about a special that would allow me to come back an additional 2 times for balancing tires, car wash, and oil change. Everyone there super nice but when he came back and told me that the bolt was stripped and the last person who fixed my car did it and that i could not get my car back until that was fixed and it cost another $130+ dollars i almost died. I did not get out of there till after 1:00 and i had to cancel an 11:00am appt with a client. I did give an average rating cause they did take care of the stripped bolt without cost to me, Clint went and talked to the manager. Thanks Clint. Lets see how the next visit goes:) and i will be back to rate them again. More

I would like to share my experience with Big Island Honda in several different areas. First I came to Big Island Honda to find me a Good, Reliable, Affordable car. Jun was my Sales Associate. He found just the right "FIT" for me, a 2007 Honda FIT! It met ALL of my Expections and more! Mahalo to Jun to Listening to ME the customer and Not just he wanted to sell me to make a few extra bucks! That's what you call a True Sales Associate and just a salesman. Next, I was going to bring my FIT in for service, oil change, filter, fluid checks, tire rotatation. Before I brought my FIT in for servicing I stopped by to see exactly what was going to be done! I was greeted in the parking lot by Noah! He explained exactly what was going to be done when I brought my FIT in for service! In my conversation with Noah it was like we had known each other for years! Noah is an EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE GREETER MANAGER!! I look forward to working with him in the future. Next, and FOREMOST was Lori Taylor my Service Advisor! I have Never had such a Comprehensive, Friendly, Professional, Multi-Tasked Service Advisor ever! From the Very Beginning Lori Greeted my with ALOHA!! She had my FIT paperwork right in front of her and knew Exactly what service they were going to preform on my FIT! Lori explained a Service Plan for a year with the same services I was getting and more for Less than HALF the price! I had a syrybank credit card that I was supposed to be able to use for auto repair and servicing. Lori tried to run the card through and it declined, I called the customer service line and Lori talked to them and provided them with all of the information they requested, they said that Big Island Honda wasn't on there list. So the service was done as scheduled and I purchased the Service Special!....AND............ IT WAS LORI'S BIRTHDAY!!!!!! We All sang HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO LORI!!!!! It was Sooooooo much Fun just like OHANA!!! Kourtnie the Shuttle Driver took me to another appointment while my car was being serviced. Kourtnie is sooooo much Fun to be around we Talked and Laughed about All kinds of things we had in common!.....AND........ It was HER BIRTHDAY TOO!!!! I sang HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO KOURTNIE too!!!! Again just like OHANA hanging out together!!! My overall experience was Great!! I wasn't like just another boring car servicing trip,............... IT WAS A PARTY THAT I WON'T FORGET!!!!! Mahalo! I'm Glad Hilo Has a Honda Dealership Being on an island makes things like getting auto parts difficult at times, but I can usually find what I need at Big Island Honda if not elsewhere. Their employees are helpful and patient and do their best to explain things. I would rate them higher but I cannot afford their services most of the time--especially $139 just to check why my SRS light is staying on!; and I bought an oil change package before knowing I would need to get 3 oil changes within one year--and I only drive maybe 7k miles in a year, so am using them up just so not to waste my money totally. Cameron Castillo is the best, hands down. He helped us by keeping us informed and really took the time to find a better deal for us. When we thought that there was no way we could find a bank that would finance our honda odyssey, Cameron made it happen. He had all of the approvals, paperwork and Keys ready for us and it literally took 30 minutes to finialize. Thank you to Big Island Honda- Hilo for making this an amazing experience. We love our Hondas and will definitely be back. More
