I was due for a 65,000 mile oil change on a 2005 Toyota Celica. I had just gotten a coupon in for a service and alignment and I thought I'd get both done since I’d recently gotten new tires. The car wen Celica. I had just gotten a coupon in for a service and alignment and I thought I'd get both done since I’d recently gotten new tires. The car went in with the steering wheel at the 11:58 position at 2PM. 2 hours later; they told me my car was done. I paid for the service and alignment and left the dealership. As soon as I got on the road, I almost hit the car in the left lane. My steering wheel had to be at the 12:07 position for the car to go straight! I took a U-turn and went right back to the dealership. When I reached the dealership, Dave Durnal told the technician who performed the alignment to take the car for a road test with me. This is the first lie; even though the service and alignment description both "Road Test Vehicle", the road test couldn’t have been done because of the condition I received the car back in. Not to mention that I was standing outside since the time the car came off the alignment rack and I did not see them take it for a road test. After the road test, the technician took the car back into the shop and rotated the tires. The second lie since the service description I performed stated "Rotate Tires”. They rotated the tires and told me that I was good to go. I got back on the road and the same thing happened. Again, I took the U-turn and went right back to the dealership. I walked in again saying that I need this fixed and I want to be dropped home or I want a loaner car until the problem is fixed. Dave told me that there's nothing more they can do and that they "don't want to deal with this vehicle anymore since we did all we could" I asked if they would revert the alignment to what it was earlier since it was much better then. Dave didn’t answer my question and went to say “Our machine isn’t wrong” and that I would be refunded. He then went on to say that my tires are bad. I told Dave that my tires are new high quality (Michelin Pilot Exalto Sport) and have less than 500 miles on it. Dave still argued and told me that my tires are causing my problems since everything they did and checked is 100% right. Dave also went on and told me that I should get tires from them so they can properly balance them and gave me prices for that. I told Dave that the likelihood of tires causing this is extremely slim and incorrect balancing would cause vibration instead but Dave ensured that the problem was with my tires and showed with his attitude that he didn’t want to discuss this matter any further. It was 6:00 PM, 6 hours after I dropped the car off and I had not eaten lunch so I just took my car and left. The next day in Connecticut (I had to drive 3 hours which is another reason I was extremely upset), I took my car to a 3rd party repair shop (Modern Tire) where they performed an alignment within 25 minutes. Now my steering wheel is straight and my car goes straight. There was nothing wrong with the tires. According to the technician, Toyota didn’t have my steering wheel straight when they performed the alignment. I do not recommend this dealership to anybody. I thought they'd take care of a semi rare car (2005 Celica GT with Action Package), I was highly mistaken. Did I mention that after I saw my car go through the oil change, the rear bumper was dislodged from the left side. Of course, when I told the technician he told me that the damage was already there (No it wasn't, I'm really secure with my car). More
I never in a million years thought I could ever have such a TERRIBLE experience at a car dealership as the one I had at Towne Toyota. After calling 2 times to tell them I would be coming in to test drive a u a TERRIBLE experience at a car dealership as the one I had at Towne Toyota. After calling 2 times to tell them I would be coming in to test drive a used Toyota Sienna with 2 of my daughters and being told it would be ready to go for me when I got there, I arrived to the dealership and was handed off to Charmaine. She said the car wasn't ready and that she would go get it. After waiting for 25 minutes, she pulled up in a different Sienna that was DIRTY and had just been turned in off a lease. She expected me to test drive that one. The seats were covered in dirt and crumbs and I'm not exaggerating- it was disgusting. I refused to drive it. I asked where the Sienna I came to see was and she told me it was in the back of the lot. I walked all the way back there to find the one I came to see blocked in by a Rav4 with a flat tire. After leaving there in disgust, I called the manager on Monday and spoke with him. He encouraged me to give them another chance, I chose to go back and test drove 2 different Sienna's including the one I originally went to see. I had to leave to get my kids after school, and said we could work out a deal over the phone. When I called later, they didn't like the fact that they could use the price the listed online rather than the one they listed on the car and made up ways to try and get the price of the car back up. It was a horrible experience and I reported them to Toyota. Don't do business there. More
I had done my comparisons, test drives, and all that. I went online to find the best price I could. I spoke with David, a sales manager, and agreed on a price for a new corolla. I went into the dealershi went online to find the best price I could. I spoke with David, a sales manager, and agreed on a price for a new corolla. I went into the dealership and met with Michael Mero who showed me the car I wanted and made what can normally be a painful experience with a dealership, easy. I got the price that was agreed upon without a hassle and Michael was quick with his part (paperwork, etc). I have now bought 2 cars from Towne (a Sienna and a Corolla) and they do seem honest. More

Towne Toyota in Ledgewood has the best Parts Department of any car dealer I have ever visited. I have only owned Toyota/Scion vehicles since 1985, purchasing these vehicles at Toyota dealers and privately of any car dealer I have ever visited. I have only owned Toyota/Scion vehicles since 1985, purchasing these vehicles at Toyota dealers and privately. I do my own repairs on them. I discovered very early during this time that Towne Toyota had a "Do It Yourself" program which not only gave me a discount on original equipment parts, but great service on the small parts I had the need to order. The countermen, Al Perotti, Steve Brady, and Dmitri, always take the time to specify the parts I need. They show me a diagram of the vehicle section from which I need repair parts, allowing me to choose exactly what I need. This is very valuable to me, because only the proper parts are ordered, saving me time in vehicle repair. Parts ordered are almost always delivered the next day. I also purchase cases of oil filters and T-IV trans fluid for regular maintenance. Because of the great Towne Toyota Parts Department, I have purchased two pick up trucks there (1994 and 2003) and have brought friends there who have purchased vehicles (2001 and 2005). I always give Towne an opportunity to give me their best price on a new Toyota or Scion vehicle I purchase, even though there are Toyota dealers closer to my home. More

From the time my husband and I walked into the dealership to the time we drove away in our new Yaris to the followup calls, we cannot say enough about the high quality of the customer service. They really li to the time we drove away in our new Yaris to the followup calls, we cannot say enough about the high quality of the customer service. They really listened to our reason for buying a new car, then put us in the perfect vehicle to meet those requirements. We are extremely happy with our purchase and would recommend Towne Toyota to anyone we know who is looking for a new vehicle. We have owned two Toyotas in the past and loved each one, so it was a natural for us to go back to this manufacturer...the employees at Towne Toyota made it a perfect match. Thank you! More
Low stress, very professional, treated us well from the outset. We were surprised by how great these folks were. We hadn't intended to purchase a vehicle, yet we did and are, currently, very pleased. outset. We were surprised by how great these folks were. Our sales person, Mat, was the BEST sales person I have EVER dealt with. I have bought many cars over the years and he was heads and shoulders above any other sales rep. that I have dealt with. Working wit EVER dealt with. I have bought many cars over the years and he was heads and shoulders above any other sales rep. that I have dealt with. Working with him on purchasing our car (RAV4) was a real pleasure. He was very knowledgeable about all aspects of his job. He was very personable, professional, courteous and helpful. He took all the time with me that I needed. I never felt rushed or pushed. He knew his merchandise perfectly and was able to answer any question I asked him with ease and accuracy. Dealing with him was a great experience and I would highly recommend him to any friends or family looking to purchase a car. My positive experience working with Mat will bring me back to your dealership again next time I need a car. I could not have asked for a better car buying experience. Thank you Mat, EXCELLENT job. With respect to the dealership itself: This is my first time dealing with them so my experience so far is limited to my dealings with Mat last night when we purchased our new car. My initial impressions were that that the dealership was clean and attractive. I liked the comfort of the waiting room (the seats, TV, coffee). The receptionist and the finance person dealt with us professionally and courteously. We felt the dealership gave us a very fair price. Overall it was an excellent buying experience. More
