Don't fall for the false advertisement combined with a bait and switch. I saw an ad on autotrader for a 2021 BMW X3 hybrid, a rare car. Amazingly, it had under 17,000 miles and was listed at a price thousands of dollars below the bottom range of Kelly Blue Book. I contacted the dealership, confirmed the options and price and drove over 3 hours (6 hours round trip) to buy the car. When I arrived I learned that the car did not have all the options the salesman Paul thought it did. I think he was mistaken, not dishonest. The dishonesty arose when the sales manager explained that the true price of the car was not the advertised price with the advertised dealer fee. The dealership added a "dealers fee" of over $5,700 in addition to tax and tag charges! Notwithstanding the dealer advertised a dealers fee of $899. on its website and on autotrader. And the deal offered to me was only available if I traded in my Mercedes for an amount thousands of dollars less than another dealer had offered for it as a trade in. Then I was offered a "great deal" on a Toyota. It is clear to me that this dealer never intended to sell the BMW. It was a lure to get people into the showroom to pitch them on a Toyota...unless they could find someone foolish enough to pay a $5,700 dealers fee, contrary to their earlier representation that it would be $899. The following day I contacted the dealership requesting a copy of the final deal they offered me. I was told that the paperwork had been shredded because it contained my HIPPA information. I am how a law requiring confidential medical information would require a car dealer to destroy a written offer. My email request for the name of the sales manager I dealt with was also ignored. This is the sleaziest car dealership I have ever dealt with. The only reason I am not giving them a zero rating is that it is not available. Buyer beware. More

Inquired regarding a Cadillac ATS Coupe they had listed and indicated it was equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission which was a reflection of my cars.com search filter. Turns out the one they had on and indicated it was equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission which was a reflection of my cars.com search filter. Turns out the one they had on offer was an automatic (it became clear in the photos) and I pointed this out and was told it was sold so guess that's kind of a moot point. They continued to send me what appeared to be automated non-specific solicitations to the point where I put a block on incoming emails from their staffer. More

Called Toyota of Vero Beach and bill. The service manager talked me through what I needed to do, unfortunately, the key would not connect with the security and I couldn’t get the car to start. I was able to get the car to start and he took me right in when I got there and they programmed a new key and I was out the door in 30 minutes maybe less. Thank you very much Vero Beach Toyota. More
