I am depressed after my 2012 Highlander repaired by Bay Ridge Toyota, Inc. They charged new parts price in my invoice but placed back the old parts to my car. The difference is polished and painted. I found out the old scratch mark was still there. (I parked my car on my driveway, the ups accidentally did a scratch when they delivered package to me before the car accident.) My vehicle only hit a street sign not a big accident. The passenger side bumper, fender and headlamp were scratch. The paint came off only. I sent it to the above dealer for repair. Mr Michael Scarpa, the service director estimated my car $2227.88. Without bargain, i accepted the price because the guy promised to offer all new parts by Toyota to replace on my car, also he promised couple days I can picked my car and do oil changing for me. The day four, he replied, " the new parts arrived, we are waiting for your insurance to inspect the car, we found out more damage" After more than ten days, I was informed to pick up my car. After I paid $2227.88 and came home, I found out my dealer was not honest when they provided service. The replaced parts are all original parts from my vehicle. The painted job was very bad. I emailed Michael Scarpa right away, he ignored my questions in his email. So I had to went back the dealer's shop. Mr. Michael let me wait for two hours, then three more guy came. They insisted the parts were new they had nothing to do with my questioning. When my aunt who accompanied me there questioned them the old scratch mark and the pop out painting they yelled to her to shot up. Then Michael told us to wait, he said my car needs oil changing. Oil change? Didn't he promise when they repaired the body? At the end, what I had is ignorance from Bay Ridge Toyota. I am total disappointed, a worst experience in my life ! What kinds of service ! My Goodness! A big company ? More
I recently purchased a "Pre-Owned" auto from this dealership which was supposed to have been quality "certified" but has had a number of issues which tell me the car was not quality certified. I purchased the car and within a week had to replace the brake pads. The car has problems stopping as the calipers are not evenly distributing the braking pressure. The transmission oil was black and smells burnt as opposed to a bright cherry red which it's supposed to be but is not and the unit is shifting hard and on occasion slips. I was left stranded with 3 young kids on a dark stretch of highway because a bad battery left me unable to start my car. The car had 3 Mis-Matched tires which were so badly damaged that I had to replace all 4. The bumpers were given a fresh coat of paint to cover up some under-lying issues and after a week the paint started chipping away. Many other issues with this car I wish I could upload photos and receipts to prove the validity of my statements but I can't so please stay away from this dealer. More
I took my vehicle to Bay Ridge's service department after trying to have an annoying rattle noise repaired at another dealer and a local mechanic. They got my vehicle's problem solved in a timely manner and let me know that I had a warranty lm my vehicle that covered the cost of my repair! Big thanks to Mike and Carl! More
These are the worst bunch of thieves that you will ever come across. Every experience was a nightmare. They solved a recall notice problem by stealing my floormats. Unfortunately, I listened to them but when I checked the service manual later I found out that I should have the system serviced after 100K miles and I had less than 45K miles. When I went to the service manager, he was less than useless. Stay away from them. More
I recently had my 2011 Camry serviced at Bay Ridge Toyota. I was in by 8:30 and out by 11:30. It was a pleasure dealing with Jim. He explained everything to me in a clear respectful manner. He saved me money by applying some Toyota coupons to the service. I was ushered to the waiting area where I was able to complete some work that I had brought with me. My car was returned sparkling clean after the free car wash. I give bay Ridge Toyota the highest rating because they actually made my car service a pleasant experience. Karen Fogler More

I brought my car to service yesterday (8/18) for the major 15000 miles service. Not only was it less money than I was quoted in otherdealers, but it was ready BEFORE the time he told me. I bought a brand new FJ Cruiser. Since the beginning, I had problems with the dealers. They are liars, they avoid your phone calls, and the service is the worst service I have ever seen. They do not care about the customer unless you pay with cash because you have an old car. Otherwise, you have to wait all day for your 2 year free service. More
Scam - Stay Away from Service! Service is a RIPOFF!!!! Stay away. Service basically refused all the things I wanted done and did their own thing and then the Service Rep comes to the cashier with you to Stay away.
