I would like to change my original review. I would never refer this dealership to anyone, ever. I purchased a 2016 Jeep Wrangler from this dealership at the end of November. When we took the car for a test refer this dealership to anyone, ever. I purchased a 2016 Jeep Wrangler from this dealership at the end of November. When we took the car for a test drive, all seemed fine. Went through the normal bickering back and forth on numbers to come to an agreement for the purchase price. I gave them as much as I possibly could for a deposit in order to reach the monthly payment my wife could afford. I told them that I had nothing left and I was not interested in the extended warranty. The pressure sales tactic to get me to buy this was nothing I have ever experienced before. When I finally put my foot down and said no, it's not going to happen, the finance manager's attitude changed from nice to a complete xxxxxx. Anyway, two weeks later, my wife went back to work, she feared for her life once she started driving down 290 and 294 daily for work. Whenever she would hit a bump, the vehicle would want to wander from her lane to either lane on the left or right. If you drive down 294, you know the semi traffic at all hours on that highway. She would drive in the far right lane doing under the speed limit just to feel safe. I took the jeep to a jeep specialist and also my local mechanic (who I have used for over 15 years) and both said that there were issues with the passenger side front tie rod as well as all of the control arms and they would need to be replaced. I bought the control arms myself to save a little cost and had my mechanic to the tie rod end, install the control arms and then an alignment (necessary after tie rod ends). All said and done, the cost totaled up to right at $2,200.00. Now the Jeep is driving like new. My wife is no longer afraid to drive on the highway. I brought all the paperwork to Toyota of Fox Lake and explained all we went through. I asked if they do a safety check on the vehicles they sell. They said that they do and didn't see that there was a problem with any of this. When my mechanic had the jeep on a lift, he had me come into the shop to show me how loose the control arms were. If they indeed do a safety check, this would have been found. I said I would be willing to pay half of the repairs and asked if they would cover the other half and they refused and said that they can't take a third party mechanic's assessment. I live 30 miles from the dealership and did not feel comfortable driving that far when my mechanic is 7 minutes from my home. No matter what I said, both the service manager and sales manager refused to accept responsibility. Beware of a dealership that does not stand behind the product they sell. Extremely poor customer service once they get your money. More
We went in knowing what we wanted and Liz C. let us test drive everything they had that fit our selection. She asked good questions to help us choose between two cars and was very nice to our kids, who we h drive everything they had that fit our selection. She was knowledgeable but wasn't afraid to ask questions on our behalf if she didn't know the answer. They also worked with us on the price and our trade-in to get our payment to where we felt more comfortable. Overall, it was a great experience and we will return for our next car. More
Went seeking a used Camry. They acted like I was trying to pull a fast one. After this they would not budge off the price which was high considering what i have seen so far in older Camry's. I do know they hold their value but not like that. It should have been one and done. Waste of time and i told the salesman so. At least he was nice and very courteous. I also did look at a 2018 Toyota Camry same issue. Shame on you fox lake Toyota for disparaging a potential customer. More

Amazing service is back! My car broke down. AAA towed it in without me because of COVID-19. After the parts came in they fixed it right away, gave it its upcoming oil service early, took payment over the ph in without me because of COVID-19. After the parts came in they fixed it right away, gave it its upcoming oil service early, took payment over the phone, a very polite gentleman in a mask and gloves drove it back to my house and left in a waiting car.
