When I inspected the damage the mice had done, Marc had the tech, Joey, also maintain distance. (They took the time to have me see why the work needed to be done. )Joey showed me the problem areas and completely explained the concerns. Joey took the time to take pictures to show damaged areas that were not visible upon my initial viewing. Both Marc and Joey politely and respectfully made suggestions as to how to avoid the problem in the future. I will use Garber as my go-to for future service work. More

I don't mind driving further to Pauley and get the red carpet treatment. More
***HANDS DOWN THE BEST SERVICE DEPT I HAVE EVER DELT WITH*** This is a review about the Fox Lake Toyota Service dept. (Jack in particular) I want to start off by saying that in my 39 years of existence I have pe This is a review about the Fox Lake Toyota Service dept. (Jack in particular) I want to start off by saying that in my 39 years of existence I have personally bought and sold quite a few vehicles. I turn most of my own wrenches, so many times I will buy them with known issues, fix them, drive them for a few months, then turn around and sell them when I know its a solid vehicle. I usually make a little money, its kind of a hobby. I don't try to make a lot, usually just a couple hundred over what I paid. This is the justification that i use when my wifey gets frustrated when I am on the hunt for another one. So you might be thinking to yourself, if he turns his own wrenches then why would he be writing a service dept. review. Just be patient, and all will be revealed in just a minute. Sometimes when jobs are very critical or I don't have the specialty equipment I will take it to the dealership for service. In this case that service was a Trans Flush and the good ol Timing Belt and Water pump. Plus I took my Sequoia in to have the Corrosion resistant compound applied to the frame (its free service for 1st gen sequoias years 04-07) and an airbag recall. This was quite a bit of work for the tech ( which reminds me I forgot to find him and shake his hand) any ways back on target..... My truck was in the shop for 2 days..... I was offered a loaner vehicle, since It was to be 2 days worth of work ( Three Stars earned right off the bat). I got my truck back every thing was good but there was a squeaking coming from my serpentine belt. I informed Jack about it, I told him i thought it was just some of the compound from the CRC application. I wanted to inform him, just so he was aware that it wasn't squeaking when I brought it in, and the slim possibility something went wrong when they removed the power steering pump while accessing the timing belt. I took the truck home and the following day I removed the belt, cleaned it and all the pulley surfaces. I slapped the belt back on and it seemed to make the squeak dramatically less, but it was still there none the less. I drove it for a few days thinking that it might right itself but it only got worse. So I called Jack to let him know what was going on (it was late in the day) so he scheduled me for the next available appointment slot the next day. I decided to do a night drop and again he offered me a loaner (which I declined because I didn't need it But PLUS ONE STAR for fitting me in so quickly) I went in today to pick it up after work and he ended up having a new Serpentine belt put on at no charge (PLUS ONE STAR). There is SOOOO much more to this story that I could share with you, but my fingers are starting to hurt, so I will spare you all the details. Psssst....Please don't tell anyone my fingers are hurting ( I DON'T WANT TO BE PUT ON LANDSCAPING DUTY cause then my back would hurt) by the way if you didn't catch that fingers hurting thing it was a Happy Gilmore movie quote. I have had some really bad experiences with dealerships in the past, I wanted to go in depth on this review so you will know WITH CONFIDENCE that this business's service dept. has went above and beyond what I ever expected to please this customer. I can't say that they are all as good as Jack as Jack is the only person which I interacted with, but if they are all half as customer oriented as Jack is, its a safe bet that 1. you won't get the run around. 2. They will treat you with respect. 3. They will make sure that you are completely happy with your service. 4. If they accidentally cause a issue while working on your vehicle ( getting coolant or CRC on my serpentine belt) They will make it right. Hands down, i say again HANDS DOWN the absolute best service dept. I have ever dealt with... I have lived in Kentucky, Indiana, Washington State, Virgina, and Hawaii ( I am Active Duty Military) I hope you have a blessed day!! Thanks again Jack, I hope to see you at church on sunday.... ( I am a proud Christian and invited him to church before I left the dealership) If I could give 6 Stars I would!!! Ohhh and they washed my vehicle Twice. More

The dealership suggested that I call The Toyota national complaint line to see if they could help. They are a waste of time. When all was said and done, my problem made it to the General Manager, Dan. After a brief explanation, Dan took all things into consideration and they made the problems go away. I have to say, after a short period of doubt, the GM restored my faith in Toyota and made me happy that I also bought a 2017 Corolla from Garber Fox Lake Toyota. I would recommend them to a friend. More

They appear clueless in regard to customer service My service light came on and I looked up at the Valvoline sticker inside my windshield to see whether it was tires or oil change. The sticker said 57k +, my miles were 57k+ so I called to make an appointment. The girl pulled up my records and asked if I needed also my tires rotated. I told her I had just purchased the tires on the vehicle, so no. She set my appointment for Tuesday 8/29/2017 at 10:20am. I took a day off and went to my appointment at about ten. A service man I had never seen was moving my car, getting the tags ready etc. When he came back I was surprised to see a different name than his on my paperwork and I asked him where Frank, who it turns out, is the assistant service director. He pointed to the desk behind him but Frank was too busy typing on his cell phone to acknowledge me. My guy typed in my info and informed me that I didn't need an oil change for another 5000 miles and would I like him to change the sticker and reset the light. I voiced my disappointment that I had taken a full day to do this based on information given to me by one of their service bookers. I spoke to Dan the G.M. about this, he asked whether I drive a lot I said no. He tried to say that it was basically my fault for not driving enough because my light is on time or something similar that made no sense to me. During this experience I spoke to 5 people and not one apologized for costing me a day’s pay for nothing. But the absolute worst part was, Dan The General Manager tried somehow to deflect the blame toward me and I really cannot believe that FRANK the ASSISTANT SERVICE MANAGER never once looked away from his cell phone during this entire incident. More

They tell me when I really need a service or sometimes that I can wait a while longer. I trust them. Frank is the service guy I deal with...he's great! The donuts on hand make any wait worth the while. More

The first time I contacted Garber they got me a time that worked without hesitation. When I arrived for service from minute I entered front walkway service was nothing under expectation. It was actually above and beyond. Big Charlie greeted me so kindly at the door the second I walked in. He attended to all my needs. Getting my car right in. He showed me the location of the bathrooms and the beverages and refreshments. He was so welcoming and answered all my questions. He followed up with me throughout the service to let me know what was happening and when it would be done. He even got me a nice clean up to both the interior and exterior of the vehicle and came on my way out to make sure I was happy with all my services. Very timely and on top of everything. I will definitely be coming back. Thanks for the great service and smile. More
