Buying a car is hardly ever a pleasant experience, but our interaction with Kelvin made it as pleasant as one can expect it to be. He wasn't pushy, patronizing, or fake. He had a genuine understanding of the product they were offering and answered all the questions we had to our satisfaction. Exactly what we were looking for. To provide context, we did not walk in planning to buy a car. We had actually traveled from Raleigh to look at a different car in Greensboro, but stopped by Rice Toyota after hearing good things about them. The car they had looked just as good as the other one and the whole experience was pleasant enough for us to move forward and close it. Kelvin had a big part to play in that, owing to his attentiveness and calm disposition. There are people who prefer the friendly, salesy type reps but we prefer ones who are more direct and straight up with their info, even if they seem less 'personal'. And Kelvin was exactly that way; calm, polite, knowledgeable, helpful, and direct. More
