Your “understanding” is incorrect. I purchased a new vehicle that has now been in 2 times for repairs within 45 days of purchase. The last “repair” was the entire replacement of a key component of the vehicle. It remains to be seen if this replacement part corrects the defect. And, when you offered to trade the new vehicle out for another new vehicle, I thought you meant to do an even trade. Instead, you tried to treat the trade out as a regular trade-in transaction. You valued the original vehicle at almost 10k less than the purchase price - less than 2 months ago. And, the trade out would have resulted in me owing more money for a lesser quality vehicle. This was not the even trade I had hoped for. Overall, this has been a truly disappointing experience. The entire purpose of purchasing a new vehicle was to be assured it was reliable, safe and free from defects. That is not the vehicle I have. So, again, your “understanding” is incorrect.
