Verbatim, the salesman said "If we fix it, do we have a deal." We answered yes and put money down. The next day (after purchasing auto insurance and getting a certified bank check), the salesman called and said they would no longer be fixing the car We couldn't believe it. We ONLY purchased this car because they said they would fix the damage. I believe the reason they did this is because when they went to fix the car, there was internal damage to it and no longer wanted to fix it. Make sure you INSPECT their used cars before you buy them, and get everything in writing. We will no longer do business with this dealership. More

I have learned in my recent car buying experience, that TRUST is everything! I visited 5 dealerships in and around my home area, and a few well outside of it. Massapequa Toyota, was close to 50 miles away from my home. First thing I was impressed with was that there were car faxes on the front seats of the used cars I was looking at. They all looked perfectly clean inside and out. I was greeted by Angad, who would be my salesman. Right from the start, he explained their programs, the buying process, the financing, and the down payment requirements. Upfront, clear, and honest, from the start! I went home without a car that first day, but the dealership and my salesman Angad, earned my confidence and trust. Originally, I was looking to buy a used Rav 4, 2016, or 2017. Buying new & or leasing was not an option yet. The next week, I saw an interesting add for a 2016 Rav 4 that fit all my desires. Looks, price, equipment but it was at another dealer in Valley Stream. Heres where TRUST comes in to play! The advertised price was $23888.00, listed by them as Pre Owned Certified? I drove it, fell in love with it and was ready to buy. My credit is over 800, steady income I was a great customer in the eyes of any dealer. By the time their closer came to sit and do the numbers, I would learn that the price was a lie, the certification was a lie, and the warranties that the car was advertised to have included, they were going to charge me for! It was classic bait n Switch! They refused to budge even $100.00 on the price. At the time I would leave Massapequa with a brand new 2019, that Rav 4 at Valley stream was not only still available, but had dropped $2000.00 in price! Another lie! I passed! I don't reward criminals! Before shopping any Toyota dealer in Valley Stream, RESEARCH them yourselves. You might be shocked what you find. After my experience there, I wasn't shocked at all. In the coming weeks, the Massapequa dealer tried to find another car like the one I had seen in Valley Stream with no luck. They even tried to buy that car from them for me, but that dealer refused. Massapequa's staff, had already now gone above and beyond for me. In the end, I was shown a way where leasing made better sense than all the other options. Patience, is at a premium at Massapequa Toyota. I never got pressured, given a high pressure sales pitch or felt uncomfortable at all. I admittedly drove them crazy but they just kept trying harder to make me happy! As of 10/22/2019, I am the new owner of a beautiful 2019 Rav 4 XLE Premium. They even went out of State to get it for me! My salesman was a total Pro, Angad. I'm sure the rest of the sales team there are just as good! The management at Massapequa are also people YOU CAN TRUST! GM, Dino, thank you for all your time. All your efforts to find a way to get me into THE RIGHT CAR!! Thanks to the Inventory Manager who spent hours searching for my car Karen, GM Dino who fought with another dealer for me as if I was a member of his family! And Jose, the used Car manager, who tried everything he could to make the numbers work out as best for me as possible! Like I said, TRUST is everything when shopping for a New or Used car. You want to feel that you didn't get ripped off, tricked, lied to, and that the car you end up with is a good, safe, reliable car. If you are looking for a Toyota, New, Used, or leased.
