My experience with Toyota of Massapequa was horrendous, particularly with their sales manager, Daniel Algarin. His behavior was completely unprofessional and disrespectful the moment I asked for the GM's email. Instead of providing it, he had a sales consultant give me a false email address. Here's what happened: Yesterday, Tuesday, 07/16/2024, around 7:40 pm, I visited Toyota of Massapequa with my friend to purchase a car (bZ4X) that we had booked on Sunday, 08/14/24. Initially, the staff received us well, and we began the process. Orlando, the salesman, gave my friend his cell phone to take to another salesman, Carlos, who sold us the car on Sunday but was off that day. I approached the receptionist and requested to speak with the sales manager. Daniel Algarin, who was sitting near the business manager, called me over without introducing himself and bluntly asked, "What's the matter?" His demeanor suggested that he judged me based on my clothes, appearance, and skin color. After explaining our situation, he told us to return to our table, and that he would start the process. As I sat at the table, I couldn't shake the feeling of being judged. I returned to Daniel's station and asked for his business card and the GM's email. Daniel questioned why I needed it, and when I mentioned I wanted to file a complaint, he lost his temper. He raised his voice and declared, "I am not going to sell the car to you. Get out." It felt as though he believed he owned the dealership. I urge the management to investigate this incident thoroughly. I also recommend conducting an extensive background check on Daniel Algarin, as his qualifications seem questionable. His behavior is a disgrace to the dealership. I request that GM Mr. Dan Toomey Jr. personally look into this issue to ensure that such conduct is not hidden from him. More

My father and I went to Toyota to looking for car three times. Carlos was very nice. We didn’t see a liked car in the first time, but he sent me the video about the car we liked next morning. The second time, I try to surprise him when we are there. But he leave early that day, but he still let his coworkers help us search the one we liked. Finally we got the car on the third time. I was definitely a little stressed out going into the process, but he took care of me from start to finish and let me know that he'd be there lease.
