I live an hour away and have tried to communicate with service intake my logistical problem. I've scheduled service twice- 1st appointment available, and was left waiting 3-4 hrs. for a basic oil change. I would have made arrangements to leave vehicle if extensive work was needed. But my gosh, this was a lack of courtesy. .Additionally after each tire rotation shortly there after I lost TWO hub caps! Management took care of the one and left me paying for the other! I actually decided to go back and have a duplicate ignition key made and had to wait again almost 4 HOURS! Supposedly the blank they had was cut wrong so they had to go to another dealer to get another blank to cut.. I also have to add that I had to be extra proactive on purchasing the vehicle due to lack of follow up by my salesmen .I paid for the vehicle in full with an extended warranty that I probably didn't need, or should I say won't be using in their dept. First time buying a brand new vehicle and I was explained every step, communication was top notch and ability to work with me on my monthly payment affordability and trade in worth. From beginning to end, I’d say it was a great experience and I recommend anyone to Eddie as their next salesman for a vehicle purchase. More
Went into dealership after tpms sensor started leaking air. The 2022 Highlander has less 36k miles and less than 3 years old. Was told TPMS sensors NEVER break unless someone breaks them physically, thus air. The 2022 Highlander has less 36k miles and less than 3 years old. Was told TPMS sensors NEVER break unless someone breaks them physically, thus Toyota will NEVER approve warranty service on them. I’ve owned Toyota vehicles for over 20 years and this is the first time I have issues with a car defect and wow the way they make you feel, seriously reconsidering my planned purchase of the 2024 Tacoma. Poor warranty service. Wanted over $480 for sensor, had it replaced at Firestone for $118. More
I purchased a used 2023 Nissan Pathfinder here with very low millage. The advertised price was way below anything comparable, so I suspected bait and switch. I was already pre-approved for financing throu low millage. The advertised price was way below anything comparable, so I suspected bait and switch. I was already pre-approved for financing through my credit union and I met Scott and asked for an OTD price. He did not try to steer me towards payment discussion. The price was as advertised. Instead of negotiating lower, I asked for delivery because I lived an over an hour away. Both Scott and Ramon agreed to follow me back all the way to my home, which was over an hour away. They got home late that night! Great above and beyond treatment by Scott and Ramon! More
The dealership is good professional and do quality work, however, Junior, the person that checked me out was rude. I was late coming in for my appt, 16 minutes. I admitted to being late. Junior gave my appt however, Junior, the person that checked me out was rude. I was late coming in for my appt, 16 minutes. I admitted to being late. Junior gave my appt to another person. I asked him why he didn’t give me a call to see if I was on my way, It’s an hour drive to the dealership from my house. He said it wasn’t a Toyota problem, he also said if I didn’t like the service at Toyota of Surprise I could go someplace else. I told him I didn’t want him to be my Service associate. There was more to the conversation I can tell you if needed. This was my second time dealing with him regsrding service of my truck. Both times I found him to be a very condescending, More
Purchased 2 new vehicles and one used vehicle here within 2 years. Sales person was great. Used vehicle deal was at 7% though the whole deal... entered finance to sign everything and the rate was now almost 2 years. Sales person was great. Used vehicle deal was at 7% though the whole deal... entered finance to sign everything and the rate was now almost 8%! They told me they'd take .5% off if I signed up for GAP coverage. I asked if I could cancel the GAP 2 weeks after the sale and receive my full $1200 back, and was told YES. Had to drive back to the dealership to sign the form, and was hassled to keep it. I insisted that I wanted to cancel. Finally presented the form an HOUR after arriving. I signed it, and they gave me a copy. Was told 4-6 weeks to see the refund to my loan. 5 weeks went by so I called for status. Along with a barrage of excuses, I was told the form was not processed yet! They blamed this on Toyota, and supposedly "re-submitted" the form. They said I'd have to wait another 6 weeks! This was complete xx and negated all of the good we had experienced before. On top of this, when i bought the used car from them, I expressed some reservation and asked about possibly trading it back in if I didn't like it. I was told they'd gladly take it back minus the fees if I bought something else from them. After 2 weeks I decided I needed an SUV and asked about getting one from them. I put under 400 miles on my car, and they wanted to give me 6k less than I bought it for! Is this how you treat customers who bought two brand new highlanders, and a 31k used car in 2 years?? I'm done. More
Took my 2022 Highlander in due to ac taking along time to cool down. I was told that a rock pierced my condenser yet it wasn't showing any leaks just low in coolant. I was also told that there was no antif cool down. I was told that a rock pierced my condenser yet it wasn't showing any leaks just low in coolant. I was also told that there was no antifreeze smell. Call a different toyota location and explained situation, they told me if a rock pierced my condenser that my air would not blow cool at all and there would be no coolant in the system due to the pressurized system. Don't go to this location in surprise az they have horrible technicians that don't know what they are talking about. More
The service department is terrible. They have requested work that was not needed. How do I know this? After their recommendations and outrageous prices, I took my car to two garages that I used to go to before buying a car at Toyota Surprise. Both garages showed me that I absolutely did not need the work performed. When I spoke to them about it, they said I was in error. More

Terrible service department. I needed another key fob for my 4 runner. I got a quote before I went. I had to wait 2 hours while they programmed it. They finally finished and I needed another key fob for my 4 runner. I got a quote before I went. I had to wait 2 hours while they programmed it. They finally finished and gave me the new fob but took the manual key out of the fob and said I had to pay an additional $15 if I want it. How do you order a fob and then take parts out of it??? Charged me $159 for the fob, $95 for programming and a ridiculous fee of $18.75 for environmental disposal fee that they wouldn’t take off the bill. There was nothing to dispose of. This is exactly why customers don’t use dealerships for service. Total rip off. More
