Curtis Thomas was professional and efficient from start to finish. Obviously in this day and age, the internet provides the quickest access to vehicle shopping. I located the 2005 Toyota Highlander on your website, due to where I lived, approximately 1.5 hours away, I had my father go and check out the vehicle first. Once he gave the "two thumbs up", I called Curtis and the processed started. Curtis worked with me and answered all of my questions and concerns. I then drove down and purchased the vehicle. Due to the leg-work and initial paperwork being completed prior to my arrival, I was in and out in about 1.5 hours. I had the worst new car buying experience at Toyota of Turnersville. I have purchased 3 brand new cars in the past and have never been to a more unprofessional dealer. Joe was my salesperson. He was ex Turnersville. I have purchased 3 brand new cars in the past and have never been to a more unprofessional dealer. Joe was my salesperson. He was extremely rude and obnoxious. The whole time I spent at the dealership, I was courteous and respectful. However, the same courtesy and respect was not reciprocated. There was a specific car and combination that I wanted and an exact model was available at that dealership. Joe, however, informed me that it was sold. When he presented me with an offer in a different color, I politely declined. Immediately, he changed his tune and said, "The model you wanted just came in today." Indeed, there was one in the back as indicated on its website for a whole month (I checked the dealership's website for a month before coming in and knew that it was available). Joe flat-out lied to me that it was unavailable. Then he presented me with an offer for that model. I presented him with a counteroffer. I waited patiently for him to return and to listen to his counteroffer. Surprisingly, he told me to leave the dealership. Without confrontation, I went to a nearby Toyota dealership, presented them with my offer, and we agreed upon a price. What started as the worst buying experience became the best no hassle buying experience. Avoid Toyota of Turnersville! (The car that I looked at is still available today--3 months after). More
