I explained I needed a lower payment and safety features for my kids and had a car chosen in 15-20 minutes. Tony never tried to over sell me or try to get me into something I couldn’t afford. I ended up saving over $100 dollars a month. My brother in law has driven Toyota’s for years whereas I have driven Ford. With Ford the payments kept climbing and you pay extra for features that are standard on my 2019 Corolla! I am a busy lady working 50 plus hours a week and I had my new car in only a couple hours - I’ve NEVER experienced that before- other lots want to waste your whole day. I am a Toyota girl from here on out and will be back in three years to buy my daughter her first car! Keep up the great work Tony! More
I was scammed & sold a used car that was junk. I bought a 1999 Toyota Celica from Toyota Volvo of Warren in good faith. I was told it was a good car. Had only one previous owner & was taken care o I bought a 1999 Toyota Celica from Toyota Volvo of Warren in good faith. I was told it was a good car. Had only one previous owner & was taken care of.. The original asking price was $5,500.00 which I accepted without trying to negotiate. They attempted to rip me off by adding to the loan, gap insurance. Anyway I have a copy of the title & it says purchase price $6,600.00. That's $1,100.00 more than the asking price of the car. SECOND.... And more important, I have only had this car for 1 year & 11k miles. It has had many issues & currently can no longer be used. I took it to Classic Toyota Dealership in Mentor & the car repairs are more than the value of the car & more than the loan I still owe for the next 3 years. I can't use car due to everything wrong with it. Greg Workman, the service manager at Classic Toyota said "they should of never sold you that car" "they just swept in under the rug" "they had to know all this was wrong" "call them & see what they can do to help you. Right now it needs LR Axel for $784 +tax/shop supplies, water pump/timing belt for $816.00 +tax/shop supplies, front struts for $712.00 + tax/shop supplies, rear brakes for $424.00 + tax/shop supplies, oil pan for $435.00. + tax/shop supplies, rear pinion seal for $314.00 + tax/shop supplies, bent RR Rim for $583.00 + tax/shop supplies (I have had a slow leak since the day I got car & constantly have to go for air), 4 tires for $545.00, alignment for $89.95 + tax/shop supplies. I can't believe this. I cried & lost a night of sleep. The shop said they can't even do an oil change cause the plug is stuck way up & they won't be able to get it back on & thus it needs oil pan too. I understand items like tires & alignment would be a normal expense that I would be responsible for...but due to all the other issues on this vehicle...it should of never been sold or at least fixed prior to sale. I had no idea that only after 12 months I would owe more in repairs than the value of the car. I purposely bought from a dealership over a private owner or little guy corner car lot so I could have confidence in my purchase. Boy was I wrong. I don't know what to do. I now have a car that needs almost $5,000 in repairs & I have a loan on it for $4,200. I just paid $344.00 last week for car insurance for 6 months & it is sitting in garage & can't be used. I also have a monthly payment to the bank of $151.00. This is just so wrong. It's a really bad feeling when a reputable Toyota dealership like Classic Toyota in Mentor tells you "this car is not worth fixing" "I hate to see you put that kind of money in a car that is almost 20 years old & in Cleveland weathers something else is going to go wrong" " they knew it needed so many repairs & swept it under the rug More
Fantastic, would go back in a heart beat! I needed a new car pretty badly, I looked online and saw that I wanted a Toyota yaris and pulled in, parked and was greeted by Tony. From there he did everything to get me the best deal possible, got to know me to get me a deal with graduating this fall, getting my payments lower, he was so friendly just like the rest of the staff there! Horrible experience We went in to look at a truck we knew we would be upside down a bit because out current truck is still being paid off AMANDA BAYER jerked us around fo We went in to look at a truck we knew we would be upside down a bit because out current truck is still being paid off AMANDA BAYER jerked us around for 3 hours saying that even a lease would be well over a 700 payment I'm not stupid then she told us that the truck we really wanted cause off course she was trying to get us to by new was off the table there was nothing she could do no bank would finance because it was a 2013 but then came back and said if you put money down we can get a loan but the payment is still close to 700 we are not stupid people this dealership does not want to deal plus she had 2 hard hits on our credit and only told us of one plus she wanted to get rude when questioned about the numbers and said she wasn't there to argue with us we will NEVER go back sticking with Klabeen of Warren Chuck is the guy More
