Brought my 4Runner in for a recall and left with a gouge in my dashboard. The general sales manager (GSM) gave me a call to resolve the issue, he said that he doesn’t believe it was done at the dealership y in my dashboard. The general sales manager (GSM) gave me a call to resolve the issue, he said that he doesn’t believe it was done at the dealership yet he’s willing to patch it as a goodwill gesture. Im not looking for a patched up dashboard, thats not how I brought it in. I informed them that I want my dashboard replaced and was told it will not happen and the gsm keeps insisting that it happened elsewhere but they’re fixing it as a goodwill gesture. The damage is so obvious and the mechanics greasy hand prints are all over the dashboard. Its easy to see they used the wrong tool or a tool improperly. What a shame More
