In March 2023, I purchased a 2013 Volkswagen Passat TDI Sel from Tracy Volkswagen. I signed a Trade/Purchase Disclosure Form, specifically stating that the vehicle's emissions system had not been tampered Sel from Tracy Volkswagen. However, After the purchase, the vehicle stalled and a turbo failure revealed that the car was actually part of the Volkswagen emissions scandal—a critical fact the dealership failed to disclose to me at the time of sale. Although I have invested $9,000 in repairs and rental fees and still owe $9,000 on the loan, the car is currently undrivable. Upon reviewing my documents, I discovered that my signature and my co-signer’s signature were forged on several warranty and GAP addendums that I explicitly declined, especially since the dealership claimed the car came with a "Lifetime Powertrain Warranty" that they now refuse to honor due to various loopholes. To make matters worse, while the final contract is dated May 23, 2023, the digital audit trail shows it wasn't electronically signed until June 17, 2023, and the GAP insurance company has confirmed that the policy was cancelled back in May 2023, leaving me with a fraudulent debt for products I never authorized. The dealership service advisors always feel like they are pushing to sell services and the services are very expensive. A maintenance for Volkswagen ID4 that includes flushing brake fluid, changing cabin air pushing to sell services and the services are very expensive. A maintenance for Volkswagen ID4 that includes flushing brake fluid, changing cabin air filter and replacing coolant is quoted at $1500. The dealership also makes it clear that if we don't get the maintenance done every 10,000 miles at one of the Volkswagen dealerships, then it voids the warranty. The maintenance is much more expensive than getting the maintenance done for ICE car like a Toyota Camry or Honda Accord. More

Had other dealers speaking with us so I left thinking that was the end of my dealings with them. Day two Karim called back, left a voicemailmessage and said he had a new number to run by me. Called in and the Number offered was acceptable. I had been upfront about having a payoff balance above the price offered and I would make up the difference to payoff the vehicle balance. I was asked by Karim to be at the dealership by COB as it was end of month and they needed to finalize this to help his months numbers. On my way over I connected to ask about a cashiers check for the balance difference and was now told wait a few hours as they had to connect with the bank. I informed them I had the complete payoff balance. I then heard from Ray at the dealership, and this is where the deal agreed on begins to be walked back. Ray starts talking about the busy month end close and having to wait to see if we could do the deal at all. Follow up on Monday. Month end mind you is why Karim was pushing to get the deal done today but now from Ray relooking at numbers their tune changed. I had been back and forth all afternoon working to get there and get this done with figures clearly communicated back and forth. Now according to Ray nothing offered was in writing so there is no agreed deal. To me Words and honesty matter and they have none of that at the basis of their operation. I wouldn’t trust a word from them and get everything in writing if you choose to do business with them at all. More
Lied about the car I purchased did not get over 300 miles per charge. Told me it was free charging for 3 years it was not. Second ID4 purchased. I was met at my car door, greeted by Antonio and walked thru my service start to finish. Being a woman at a car dealership and service appointment, sometimes it is sort of intimidating. This wonderful man was clear and friendly. He actually had a SMILE in his voice while talking. He enjoys people and really likes his job.
