Just purchased and back hatch seal leaking when it rained I had just purchased my Jeep Liberty and drove it home, the following day it rained and I noticed the rear hatch seal leaking . I contacted the dealer I had just purchased my Jeep Liberty and drove it home, the following day it rained and I noticed the rear hatch seal leaking . I contacted the dealership and took it in the following Tuesday, I picked it up Wednesday as the part did not need to be ordered. main purope of visit was NYS inspection This is the first time my ram needed service, and the first time bringing my personal vehicle in for repair to Transitowne. I do bring the dodges tha This is the first time my ram needed service, and the first time bringing my personal vehicle in for repair to Transitowne. I do bring the dodges that I have in the fleet I manage there for all service, and recall needs. The main purpose for me bringing my truck in was that my inspection is up at the end of May. However, I did have a "check engine" light on due to the fuel sensor failing. So, when I dropped the vehicle off I explained that I needed a NYS inspection, and I knew that I need the fuel sensor changed. I was still a thousand miles out, but go ahead and change the oil and rotate the tires. I did receive a call rather quickly, letting me know of the cost for the fuel sensor repair, I let them know to go ahead and repair it. When all was completed I returned to pick up my vehicle. I walked in, gave my name, the paper work was drawn, I was given the total, I handed my credit card and signed my name. I then got in my truck getting ready to leave, when I just glanced at my inspection sticker to notice that it was still the same sticker set to expire at the end of the month. With nothing being mentioned to me at the time of check out, I just thought that it may have been missed in the shuffle with all the other services I have done that day. I went back in and mentioned the inspection may have been over looked, I was then told about the vehicles computer needs to level back out, and that the vehicle just needs to be driven to reset. Which is all fine, but the main reason for bringing the vehicle in was for the NYS inspection, and none of this was mentioned to me in the phone call to let me know my vehicle was ready, nor at the time of cashing out. I do want to state that the work was completed to satisfaction. I was happy for the time it took to get my vehicle in and out. My only dissatisfaction is that if I did not happen to glace at the sticker I would have just assumed that it was complete. Once I got home to look at the paper work, I noticed it appears I was also charged $21.00 for a NYS inspection. I have had many oil changed performed here, and the staff and service is what keeps me returning. And I will keep returning for my future service. But the only reason this time for the low grade is not being told about the inspection. More
