I was a seller, not a buyer - we had an extra car. I got competitive bids from several local dealers, CarMax, Carvana, etc. while trying to decide if I would sell privately or to a car dealer. If you are selling, check out their Share program, which pays you a fair price up front and then shares a large portion of their profit with you after the car sells. It is similar to a consignment sale, except TruWorth takes all the risk. The Share proceeds check I just received exceeded my expectations (more than double!) and pushed my proceeds past what I would have gotten from a private sale doing it all myself.
