When I totaled my car a few months ago, I dreaded going new car shopping. Not only because it was a tight market for NEW Hyundai Tucson Hybrids, but also because I didn’t want to deal with dealer markups a new car shopping. Not only because it was a tight market for NEW Hyundai Tucson Hybrids, but also because I didn’t want to deal with dealer markups and pushy sales people. I had already test drove the car another dealer, so I knew exactly what I wanted. I reached out to about 5 Hyundai dealers in SoCal. All of them were charging over $3 - 7K over MSRP. I asked them to give me the OTD price and if they were willing to negotiate over the phone and email, we could get the deal done. None were willing to do this, they all wanted me to come in. Tustin Hyundai was the only dealer who didn’t have dealer markups. And the sales person, Rooben Khachatoorian was willing to work with me over the phone/email. They didn’t have the car in stock, but as soon as they got the allocation for the exact car I wanted, he called me first and I got the car reserved. I knew exactly what the OTD price was before I got there to sign paperwork and there were no hidden surprises. Shawn Brown from Finance was awesome and walked me through everything and it was painless. Rooben then took me out to my car and literally walked me through every single feature on the car and how to use it. He didn’t rush through it at all, he wanted to make sure I was comfortable with everything. Overall, this was the best new car buying experience, I could have hoped for. Tustin Hyundai is the best dealer and I will definitely recommend them to everyone I know. More
