Dealership was the only one in our area (Orange County) that I found that did not charge a markup on the Ioniq 5. Ivan my salesperson was fantastic, probably the best I've dealt with at any dealership in t that I found that did not charge a markup on the Ioniq 5. Ivan my salesperson was fantastic, probably the best I've dealt with at any dealership in the past 20 years. He was very knowledgeable about the Ioniq 5, (and EVs in general) and answered all my questions - and I did a ton of research on the car beforehand and EVs in general as well (also having leased the original Ioniq EV for 3 years). My mom bought an Ioniq 5 from him as well, and she and I have sent multiple interested friends to him, after our positive experience, and Tustins no markup policy. He was very patient, and attentive (including multiple exchanges by text) without being the least bit pushy. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5, was that the finance department always tries to add "extras" we neither wanted nor asked for. First time for my mom we were able to take it off, but second time they added something we weren't able to remove. Still came out well ahead of other dealers that marked up $3k to $5k on top of MSRP, and comes w a service we may actually use (paint and fabric protection warrantied for 3 year for $900). I know nearly all dealerships do this and understand why (limited vehicle supply impacts their revenue), I just dont find the practice enjoyable. Just be upfront about it (I did not find out about it until we went to the finance office). I would have taken 2 stars off, but having Ivan as our salesperson added a bonus star back. So 4 stars overall out if 5. But overall, an otherwise smooth experience. I also greatly appreciated the outdoor seating and the fact that Ivan wore a mask around us. More
