Figured that purchasing from a family business would be more trustworthy than from a big chain store. When I bought the vehicle, they said that they wouldn't be able to negotiate on a price due to it having a "brand new engine" which really meant that they had just replaced a head on the motor, but I naively figured that their claim meant that it would be running very well and worth the price. It started exhibiting issues within a few weeks of owning it. I understand that I bought the car "as is" but I feel as though I had been misled by their claim of a new engine, as when I took it to my mechanic he found out that they had done their engine head repair with an incorrect gasket which had caused a massive oil leak. When I brought the car back to see what this business would do about it, they literally peered into the engine, told me that it was an issue with one part, ordered it, put it in the car and was like "that's it, problem fixed". They never drove the car to test, it took 30 minutes. To be fair, they did not overcharge me for that service, but it did absolutely nothing to stop my car from hemorrhaging oil out every day. I never took it back to them after that because clearly they did not seem interested in doing a thorough job in inspecting the problem, and I have little patience for that kind of behavior. I have also found out that they did a HACK JOB on several repairs that I discovered while doing even more repairs on the car. For example, in one place in the car there is no metal nut on the OEM part and the a nut appears to be literally *glued on* to it. It is part of the pressurized coolant system and you can see the dried leaks from this connection point. This part can be bought for $7 from auto-zone, so why do a sloppy fix like this? I am just now finding out the true extent of the shoddy work they did on this car. I likely will find even more as time goes on. I've now spent more in repairs than what I bought it for, but I need to get to work and my savings have been drained by constant trips to the mechanics and uber rides along with the rising cost of everything else. So I'm writing this review late to warn others. They stood in front of me and said the words "With the new engine, we can't go lower on the price". They took advantage of vulnerable people like me who were in desperate need of vehicles to get to work after the hurricanes left our previous cars trashed. Shame on you. Do not trust these people, it has cost me thousands of dollars and hours of stress that I will never get back. They respond snarkily to any negative reviews and try to claim that people are lying and making things up. (Written angrily from an Uber, because my car is stalled in my driveway for the third time this year and its only June) More
Awesome place! Super friendly service and fast! Can tell it’s a family business and they definitely take care of you like you are! We lost everything 3 days prior d Super friendly service and fast! Can tell it’s a family business and they definitely take care of you like you are! We lost everything 3 days prior due to hurricane Helene and they helped get us into a car, worked out a great financing deal that would work for us, and just went above and beyond to help us during a very difficult time. It was such an amazing car buying experience! We Love the car and will definitely be back for another one! The selection of cars is amazing, and you can tell they take pride in the cars, even told us to bring it back if we ever had any issues with anything! Definitly cannot recommend this place enough!!
